Magic Stateroom 7008?

Has anyone had this stateroom? Any comments?

It's a Category 8 (<b><i>huge</i></b> porthole window) on a dead-end hallway, so you should have very little foot traffic in front of your room. You do not have a connecting door to an adjoining room, so you will not hear much from your neighbors. Conveniently located near the Forward stairs/elevators. I'm sure you'll like this room.

Of my choices I thought it was the best. IMHO anywhere onboard is better than not being there at all! Just thought that since we are so far out from the sailing date that I would request a change if anyone knew of a particular problem with this stateroom.

We were in 7003 on the Wonder and I thought deck 7 was great! Liked being forward too -- convenient to the spa!

Dave...Are the cat. 8 portholes larger than the ones in cat. 9? I see you put an emphasis on "huge".

No, I believe the Category 2 portholes on Deck 2 are just as large. I'd estimate about 3 feet in diameter. I emphasize that it's huge because when most people think about a porthole, they think about a window that's only about 1 foot in diameter. The Category 9's on Deck 1 have a pair of standard-sized portholes. I'd much rather have the huge porthole window that the Category 8's and the Deck 2 Category 9's have.

Hi,

We had cabin 7008 on the Wonder this past October. Room was fine, no noise, no motion problems. Pretty convienent to everything. I think you will like the cabin.Have a blast!

I have stayed in 7012 on the Wonder and 7010 on the Magic. These rooms are the greatest. Good location and great views.
