Magic NY To Puerto Rico - Nov 5, 2016

Well, I just really committed to this cruise, I just bought my tickets from San Juan back to Newark Airport. The price currently is $155 in economy. Now all I need is a hotel in San Juan for the weekend.

We bought our return flights too, $205 to Northern California.

Wow only an extra $50 to go cross country. At least I feel less crazy getting tickets this early.
Yes that was a great price and it has a 14 hr layover in DFW so we can get a little sleep and break up the long trip home.

We are very excited for this, our first DCL cruise! We are also from Central NJ. Our boys will be 12, 8, 8 at time of travel.
A first cruise, I would be excited also!!! You will love the cruise.

Welcome to the group, if you have any questions about this cruise feel free to ask.

Hello, we booked this cruise the day it opened and are super excited! We are a family of 5 from California (my husband and I, 2 boys ages 7 & 5, and girl 3). We also are sailing with my parents, my inlaws, my sister-in-law and her family. Most of us have never been to New York, and none of us have been to St. Marten, Tortilla, or San Juan. This will be our 3rd Disney cruise!. I am really looking forward to this trip, and love the planning portion of it too!

I am pricing out this cruise with my TA...I love the idea of 3 sea days, the only (little) negative is no Castaway Cay.....

Hello! Matt and Lindsay here from Philly. This will be our 3rd DCL cruise- all on the Magic!! And we have YET to make it to Castaway.... someday. Haha. Anyway- looking forward to planning. We've been to all the ports before so if anyone has any questions, we're happy to tell you what we know!

Hi! We live about 45 mins from you in NJ. I actually grew up in Delco. This will be our 4th DCL cruise, first on the Magic. Out of these ports only have been to St Martin. Very interested in seeing the baths at tortola. Did you do that excursion?
Btw, I'm not a beach person but Castaway Cay is a definite must someday! I went snorkeling for the 1st time there. Really an awesome place.

We did do the baths- very cool to go to once-amazing what the earth can do on its own! I'm not sure I feel the need to go a second time, however. I was with my family- 8 people total- and we booked a private boat tour for the day. Went straight to the baths and then to other beaches and snorkeling places around BVI. I definitely recommend doing the Baths first- we could see it getting super crowded behind us. We used CrewZen Charters out of St. Thomas and had a fabulous day!

Hello everyone! I'll also be on this cruise. I live in Queens, NY. This is my first Disney cruise and I'm super excited about it! Any tips from the more experienced cruisers are greatly appreciated!

Hi, we're a family of 4 and also from Queens. This is going to be our 2nd cruise and to be honest once you take 1 you'll never want to take any other type of vacation, especially if you have kids. The crew, the food, the entertainment, the relaxation are priceless. Can't wait.

I hope I'll be able to go on other cruises after doing a Disney cruise! I usually do Royal Carribean and I'm afraid I won't want to do anything but Disney after this one! I've heard only good things.

What part of Queens are you from? I'm in Glen Oaks. :)

We're from forest hills. Not too far from there.

Greeting to everyone. We are coming up on St. PATRICK'S Day and will soon hit the 6 month mark. Meet you all in NYC for the sailaway in half a year

We booked so long ago six months doesn't sound too bad. I can't wait for this trip.

We are from Central NJ and are booked with a fan group. Lots of fun when you are on board with internet friends. We did not book our return airfare and now it is off the roof. We are going to spend 2 nights in San Juan after the cruise. We have sailed out of NYC with Disney before. We are veteran cruisers.
