Magic Kingdom at night

Are there any rides that are a must-do at night? Am considering a lazy morning before heading to the park around 3 pm, have a meal, go on a few rides and watch wishes.

I don't know about "must" do, but anything outside has a different atmosphere at night. I like Big Thunder Mountain, the view up in Astro Orbiters, and Jungle Cruise.

Agree with these. My kids really enjoyed 7DMT at night. Also the HM has a cool feel after the sun goes down

- Dumbo is really cool at night with the lights
- Thunder Mountain is fun
- People Mover is a great opportunity to see the castle all lit up (around Christmas, at least.)
- 7DMT is fun at night, but better in the day.
- Splash Mountain is awe-inspiring when it takes you around the corner and you see the castle at night
- Haunted Mansion, like Tower of Terror, is spookier at night.

An absolute must do at night for us is BTMRR. Just a completely different ride at night.

7dmt is 100% better at night. Feels a lot faster and more fun.

Other good ones are Haunted Mansion (better feel to it), big thunder, and splash

We also love 7 Dwarves and BTMR- which was especially cool during Wishes!!

Haunted Mansion and Jungle Cruise are better at night for sure. But I just like the overall atmosphere of MK at night, moreso than specific rides.

Big Thunder Mountain for sure! We rode it twice at night and it was such a different feel. My fave night time ride by far. People Mover was great too.

And if it is a nice warm night we LOVED Splash Mountain at night. Couldn't see the water drop at all which was pretty cool.

Ah the fireworks. One of my fondest memories. Anything with a good view of the fireworks is a must do.

I wish we had more nighttime in June. I'm a little sad that the sunset isn't until almost 9pm. I would love to be able to do all this stuff at night. Unfortunately I have a 2 yr old and 4.5 yr old...so I doubt they would last to midnight (if that is when they extend the June hours to.....it's kind of sad that AK is currently posted as closing later than MK for our trip...lol).

Nobody has mentioned the People Mover!

Night time is my favorite time to ride the People Mover! I love the view looking down on Tomorrowland all lit up at night.

I also like Splash at night...as long as it's not cold. Thunder Mountain is also good at night...it feels faster to me when riding in the dark.

I guess I am really in the minority here I do not like nights I just do not yes do not get me wrong some rides are so much better at night I just do not like it with all the flashing lights ( the things disney sells) just about blinds me

Absolutely love Splash at night, especially during the fireworks. Other favorites are the PeopleMover and Jungle Cruise!
