Magic In Paradise: 10/8-10/15 2011. All cruisers check in here. (#2)

Yea slow tonight. Just sitting at home watching my nightly two hours of Star Trek: The Next Generation and the Original Star Trek. Yes I an a Star Trek geek and proud of. I do draw the at dressing up, after all as the Shat said on SNL, it just a T.V. show.

Ha! Me too. Star Trek TNG was THE best of the series IMO.:worship: I still watch them when I see them. I also have all the movies on DVD that I watch. I draw the line at dressing up too and I have never been to a Trekkie convention.

OK, I didn't really get an answer on the other thread I posted so maybe you vets know? If I want my passport stamped, can they have them do that at the ship or do I have to find somewhere in port?:confused3 Is there somewhere close by the port to do that?

You can try two avenues here. You can ask Guest Services to do it even though I hear it is spotty if it gets done. Also as you leave the ship there are a few officials at the gates at each port (except CC) that can direct you the customs office. The customs office at the port should be able to direct you to where you can get your passport stamped if they do not do it themselves. Good luck.

the linky no worky! What was at it?

Yeah, she had the MODs take down the thread yesterday at some point. But it was a bride getting married at the Wedding Pavilion in about 3 weeks and she only found out on Tuesday that they wanted her move her wedding because of dredging/construction in the lagoon.

I thought about editing the link last night but couldn't come up with anything to replace it. The thread was starting to go viral.

Currently going through the final list and I need emails from some of you so i can mail it out. Please send them ASAP. I would like the list out by Sunday at the very latest. And if I already copied your email, please make sure i did so correctly. For some reason copy/paste is not working out for me in Google docs:confused3

I am going to start a Trek fight sort of. I loved TNG but I think the best show was DS9 but only after Worf showed up and Sisko shaved his head. I think the writers forgot they cast Hawk from Spencer for Hire until Avery Brooks shaved his head. After that happened that show rocked.

I liked DS9 OK but absolutely did not like Voyager. I saw Captain Janeway guest starring on another show I watch, Warehouse 13 on Sci Fi this week. I yelled to my husband, Look there's Captain Janeway!!:lmao:

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!:banana::banana::banana:

Can't wait! Though sadly, when I talked to our TA this week, she said "Yeah, you're in the right time frame, but there's no telling when you'll get them"...:(

I've got my head out the car window shouting "They're my documents and I want them now!":rotfl: or I'm putting my head out my house window "It's my documents and I Need it now!":rotfl: (guess I better call JG Wentworth)

...just in case y'all don't get that commercial...ppl are actually yelling out their windows and doors about their money...it's hysterical and tacky!;)

But seriously...can't wait!

Voyager was by far my least favorite, but still thought it was good. It seems the one a lot of people forget about is Enterprise. That was really good but did not last long enough.

Your TA and my TA must be sisters.:lmao: I can't wait either.
I hate that commercial but almost all of them are stupid nowadays.
"It's my money and I want it now!" is what I will hear in my nightmares tonight of course.:eek:

It looks like we are also waiting on Tinerbell2212's room #?:confused3 That is my last FE bag waiting on #'s.

I'm thinking since she has not bothered to get in touch with me that we cannot count on her participating. I have PMed her, but she has not replied.:confused3

I'm more of a Star Wars fan than a trekkie, but I like TNG ok. Didn't care for much of the rest of them.

Enterprise was with Scott Bakula right:confused: Love him to pieces but just never got into that one:confused3

I'm rolling down here Laura!!! I HATE (and I never hate anything) that commercial!!! So, now I"M gonna be thinking of that stuuuuupid commercial all day! :rotfl:

Well I hate to be the sourpuss here but I am not big on giving away free gift bags when someone says they are participating and then they don't.:confused3 That could just be me and I might get flamed but I am hoping we hear something from them by the start of the cruise.
