Magic In Paradise: 10/8-10/15 2011. All cruisers check in here. (#2)

All packed and ready to go here. Even Sir Procrast-a-lot is packed and he has his wedding ring...sort of. He waited so long for the custom ring that it wont be ready in time, so he had to get an inexpensive ring as a stand in. Good things do not come to those who wait.

My last day of work was Friday! Yippee..Freedom until the end of October!

Today is my final tanning session. Yah, I inherited my fathers English skin, I have to cheat.

Then on with Mom and a few girlfriends to get the nails and toesies done.

Tomorrow, the Puppies go to the vet for kenneling and then my son has his Senior Portrait sitting, then the suit goes into the bag, zip it up and we're ready to roll!

And I am happy to report, there have been no Bridezilla incidents! At least yet.

2. Take in two, one inch seams on SIL's Fife and Drum Corp vest... check
3. Hem 5 pairs of pants for DH who waited until this pasT weekend to shop for clothes.... check
4. Pack my dad's stuff.... check
5. Double check what I packed for me.... check
6. Weigh my suitcase... 43.4 lbs ... check and

Left to do:
1. Type up Pet Care instructions for BIL
2. Pack medications
3. Get to LaGuardia by 6:30 Am Thursday!
4. HAVE FUN!!!

My to do list looks like this:

Finish FEs
Pick up dry cleaning
Print maps
Finish packing
Divide tee shirt orders
Print pics for magnets and take to office max for laminating/magnet tape
Get snacks for the trip
Finish Onslow's critter care list for our neighbor.

Good thing i don't need to sleep tonight

Because its just me, my list isn't as long, but still plenty to do!

Weds:
-Workout
-Clean house
-Lunch with DH!! (we never do this, I think he's gonna miss me)
-Grocery shopping (have to load the house for my two big boys I'm leaving home!)
-Shop for those last minute "needs"
-Soccer game

Thurs:
-Another workout
-Laundry
-Pack
-Nails done
-Another soccer game
-Dinner
-Get to bed, have an early flight in the morning!!!!

Got quite a bit done last night, but still have a bunch to do. Eventually gonna be calling Rich to being the truck home so i can go off and run errands for the trip.

Went to bed at 2:30am last night. Plan on being in bed before that tonight.

My camera is on the FEDEX truck for delivery So that'll be here today. Was hoping to take Onslow somewhere for a nice long walk, but I just don't see it happening. He'll have to content with the neighborhood. That's ok though cause he had a special doggie day on Sun so i don't feel guilty

The list I put up last night is mostly the same, but just finishing work on the FEs now, then to figure out how to pack em

OH for any scrappers who want them, I happen to have 12x12 sheet of paper that say "Our Disney Cruise." I believe the number is 15. So I can bring them and whoever wants them is welcome to have them. I got them through the DCL House Party only mine was blasted by weather and didn't get rescheduled.

Oh and I forgot to wash the pillowcase I'm bringing for autographs. Does it matter whether it has been washed or not?

Starting to ramp things up around here, we're getting closer! But it's looking like we not have the best sail away weather. What are you hearing, those that are already down there?

Well we had a major medical scare here since my DH's vacation curse hit us again. We thought we may have to cancel the cruise. After 4 doctor visits, 1 ER visit, multiple tests, scopes and 1 surgery later we have taken care of the issue and DH will be fine. We got the go ahead for the cruise so we will definitely be on the ship. It was up in the air until today.
I REALLY need this vacation now because I have spent the last 3 days worrying and. My prayers were answered though and I will be with the Magic crew and I can't wait to be safely on the ship.

So glad it's worked out. I made my DS who is not coming PROMISE me he would not ride any ATV's or do anything remotely dangerous while I'm away. Don't want him losing another ear or something else if I'm not around. Seems like everyone on this ship is in desparate need of vacations! We'll either all be too exhausted to do much OR we'll be ready to let loose and PARTY!!!

We leave tomorrow morning. Have to be out of the house by 5:30 to make it to the airport and avoid I-95 and Whitestone Bridge Traffic to the airport.

Hope everyone has safe travels and I'm looking forward to meeting you all on Saturday, seeing some of you again, and maybe running into some at the MNSSHP tomorrow night. See you all real soon!

kinda taking a break today. Went to the Studio for lunch at Sci-Fi and to grab a few rides. Dinner is Earl of Sandwich. Tomorrow Lunch at Tony's Town square.

Great day today but big day. We spent all day at Epcot, then DD for La Nouba and dinner at Fulton's Crab House. Tomorrow is another big day with Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace and MNSSHP. I think I'm overdoing these few days at the world. Normally we spend a week here. 3 days before the cruise and 1 day after isn't cutting it.

Highlights for DS today - Soarin', Kidcot and La Nouba. Food and wine for us and seeing DS just taking it all in and having a great time.
Lowlights - The trains in Germany weren't running today. One of the favorite things DS like in the World showcase.
