Magic In Paradise: 10/8-10/15 2011. All cruisers check in here. (#2)

Yay yay yay - just booked the shuttle from the hotel on saturday morning. We fly out tomorrow afternoon and I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

So I want to share this story from today. So getting on the bus back to AKV a family decides that they are so special because of their oversize stroller, that they could cut off the person in the scooter and board the bus through the real entry. Oh boy was I livid. As I walked by here is the quote of what I said. "I guess having a oversize stroller makes you special" right as I passed them. What's worse is the bus driver never said anything to this family.

Just checkin in one last time!! sisiter is here in Colorado, down from Wyoming, and we will be leaving here at 5:30am. Staying in Cocoa Beach tomorrow night, See ya real soon!!!

Everyone have safe travels Friday. We made it to our halfway point tonight, should be at cocoa beach by 3:00 after some much needed sleep. Praying the rain holds off so everyone can arrive safely. One last night in a hotel tomorrow, then we'll all be on the Magic!

Us too. First off Animal Kingdom with lunch at Tusker House. After that who knows. All I know is we need to set up with bell services long term storage here as we are coming back here for 3 more nights.

Can't wait for this vacation to start!

Glad to see there is someone else still out here. We are off to BWI airport aroung noon. Can't wait until sailaway and I can turn off my cell phone.

Can someone summarize in one post for me when and where the group is going to meet during the cruise? If I remember correctly, we are meeting near the Goofy pool on Saturday afternoon and for photos sometime on Pirate night. Are there any other times?

Of course, I didn't write those down and now would rather not have to read back through every post to find the information. And I suspect there are others like me who can't remember.

By the way, I was helping my sister in law (wife's twin) find her cruise meet group yesterday. She is sailing the Magic to the western Caribbean on Nov. 29, 2011. I was surprised to see that their group has barely managed 15 pages of posts in two years. My sister in law was curious about joining their FE group and said she only found 3 or 4 families who wanted to participate. She's a little jealous that we have such an active and fun group.

Anyway, I guess that's my way of saying to all of you that you are great! We have really enjoyed passing the weeks and months anticipating this cruise with all of you here. We have had some great laughs together, shared a lot of good tips, infected each other with excitement (Madalyn being the primary carrier of that infection), and even had a couple of sad moments. And a week from now we'll all be together on board!

I think my parents are sailing on that cruise!!! What are they calling it? Magic over the Holidays or something?

I can pretty much guarentee that one will be me Hope to catch up with all ya folks tomorrow! Leaving to get to Washington this afternoon at 5ish. Flight is tomorrow at 8. Safe travels everyone!

90% packed. Leaving at 0500hrs in the morning. Hope to be at port around 12-1 pm. Stopping at DS's college to pick him up. Got that small feeling I'm forgetting something....

Survived the cardiac stress test yesterday. And no call from the doc, so I quess I'm gonna live.

Don't know how I'm gonna sleep tonight.

Just checkin from BWI airport chillin waiting for a 5:35pm that is now a 5:50pm flight. Oh well as long as we are in Orlando tonight, I really do not care. Being in Orlando means no matter what I can make it to the Magic.
