We all thought it was o.k. It's just another backlot tour. I can now say I have done it recently but probably won't be doing it again soon.
Once we got off we went to have lunch
Some yummy things

I saw some lady pushing this wheelchair and I thought it was so cute decorated for the holidays I had to snap a picture
DSC01086.jpg

I don't think she is aware of that.
I got the kids food first and went to go sit with them while DH ordered for us. The kids take forever to eat so we got them started.
DSC01088.jpg

I got a adult chicken with two sides of mashed potatoes.:lovestruc Mitch got some chinese thing. When I remembered to take a picture of our food it was too late.
While we ate we had a view of this
DSC01087.jpg

I wish that could be my view every day.
Here's a clue as to where we were going next

No, it's that place we have lunch every trip with the good chicken. It's in the same place as Soarin'.

One of my favorite places to eat. That chicken is so good. It's a great table service meal.

I always enjoy Living with the Land. It makes me long to be a good gardener, which will never happen. I usually get off craving a big old garden salad. :)

Yay!! Your TR is back open!! :woohoo: Love the Living With the Land pics!! I saw the Hidden Mickeys!! I can't believe that all of the FPs for Soarin' were gone! WOW!

fun update! where is the menu too?!? love the photos of the land!
the chicken looks so good...we normally do CS so I am going to have to remember it is there...that is where we normally eat when we go to Epcot. I was thinking of trying the CS around the world the next time we go...hmmmm....we'lll see!

Thank you! I thought it was interesting, the kids on the other hand- felt very different.

Mine too. The food is sooo good.
I'm not into gardening that much either. I just like to try a few flowers in the spring. They're gone quickly though once the summer heat comes. I still have seeds from the flower and garden festival to try.

Thanks Becky. I'm glad you were able to find the Hidden Mickeys. I'm really bad at it. I could be looking right at one and not realize. I did however, manage to find a couple.:thumbsup2
Yess!! Soarin' FPs go quick. Go back for more as soon as your window opens back up, TSM too.:goodvibes

Hi Connie,
We were having so much fun on this day. You have to go to Sunshine seasons. My top 1 favorite CS things in the world are the chicken and mashes potatoes here and the meatball sub at Pinochio's at MK. More about that later. I have a CS in each park that I highly recommend eating. I also have a few where I say "Don't you dare it there!"
Eating around the world showcase sounds fun. I planned to have dinner in Mexico but I didn't want Em having that kind of food after her stomach bug the night before. So we went somewhere else.

The kids had yesterday and today off. So, it was a long weekend. Softball started back up last week. I had to make 6 round trips to the field in the past 5 days. Saturday Amy went to a b-day party and Emily had a friend come over. At night Mitch and I went out for dinner and watched the sunset at the beach the 2 of us.:lovestruc Sunday we went to a football party and we watched the Jets win.:cheer2::dance3::cheer2::yay: Yesterday I had a cold and Mitch stepped up to the plate. He did a HUGE grocery shopping for me at Walmart and took the kids with him so I could rest. You would think after living in a town for 7 years you would know where thing are in your local Walmart. Nope not Mitch.:sad2: He goes grocery shopping 3 times a year at best. He also took the kids to the music store to get things they needed. Oh, and cooked dinner. Good hubby points for him. Mitch ran them to their practices for everything and I had the whole day to myself to rest. I felt so much better today.:thumbsup2 I took the girls to the mall today they both needed spring clothes. (Yes, spring is coming here:lovestruc) and they needed a dress and shoes for my uncle's party next month. Emily found one but not Amy.
So, that was our weekend.

The plan was after lunch to go to the WS.
You know you can't walk past Figment and not say hello so we went on. Of course it was walk-on, like always

The picture post cards had a very long line. The CM had a master line- one line for all them with about 10 families in it.:scared1:
So we passes. We just did the conducting thing for a few minutes and then continued on to the gift shop, of course.;)

Coming up next: We finally tackle WS (well at least some of us)

Awwww!! Figment!! I remember seeing him in '94--we missed him in May!
I love Figment, he is big in our family! Another thing to add to the list for May! Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Last May's rain was not fun.:sad2:

Great updates! Everytime we walked through The Land pavilion, that chicken smelled so good! I was really tempted to eat there, but we ended up in World Showcase.

Thank you! Looks like you have the Sunshine Seasons to add to your list and I have eating around WS for my list.
Great updates(:
Cute pics on Figment, I love that ride
Thanks, Sara! We all love it too.:lovestruc

Today the girls had softball tryouts. Mitch decided he wants to coach this season. He always said he couldn't because of work. So, that surprised me but it will be nice.
I kept all the kids in their number order. The girls were glad to see their friends again. After tryouts we went to Subway with a family that was on their team last season. I taught an art class at the library. Mitch won a raffle for 3 Panthers (hockey team) game tickets so they all went to that when I was at work. After dinner we finally made our gingerbread house.
This is what it should look like

Emily, my free spirited child, liked decorating it until she figured out that decorating herself is more fun.:sad2:

P.S- Notice my new avatar? I love it. A DISigner designed it for me.

I love your new avatar, it disney magic. Although your gingerbread house fell it had several hidden mickeys on it, so all was not lost. Plus Amy looks like she enjoyed as a treat.

Hello Barbara,
sorry to hear that you were not feeling well the other day! sounds like Mitch and the girls had a great dad/daughters day...good for him deciding to coach. Danny always said he could not commit due to work and he always made it to every practice and of course every game. This year is Dayne's last year! and Ashton does not start for at least two years...I think Dayne will end up coaching his teams.

Love the new avitar! :thumbsup2
we missed figment last May but he is on the list for next trip! :figment:
have a great evening and day tomorrow!

Softball will keep you plenty busy for the next several months. ::yes::

What kind of art class did you teach?

I love you new avatar! Too bad the gingerbread house didn't stay standing, but it looks like the girls had fun anyway! :goodvibes
