I wish she could have just listed which ones she had available. Also, I suspect the numbers were dropping fast even as we talked.
That super stinks. From the sounds of it, they are being bombarded with calls. I think a lot of bands were delivered yesterday and all those people who got incorrect orders are probably calling. I hate to say it, but I am not sure if Shop Disney will be helpful if the order hasn't been processed, but I sure hope so for you!No, it's taking me to 7 dwarfs no matter what browser or what device or in incognito mode. GS's guess is that the order was indeed submitted but hasn't been processed by shopdisney/merchandise/whoever, and until that department presses the button to process the order, I'm stuck in limbo. Agreed. I really hope they are taking the time to fix all the issues and not just throw more bands up for this to keep being a mess.I don't think anyone actually knows what is going on! The people who do know are keeping silent instead of releasing actual, correct info.
You could be right, who knows. I just foresee people either losing them or changing their mind closer to their trip and wanting a different one. If they made and customized them to order, how is that different from what they've been doing all along with the plain ones? You order, and 30 days prior (or 11, whatever) they make and ship it. They just have to have many different bands to make and ship. I was going to say if you pay when you order they would have to ship right away, but I guess I have pre-ordered other things and paid up front, although it seems more the norm to pay when it ships. If you cancel and already have your bands, they charge you the additional $15. I guess if your cc expired or you cancelled it in the meantime they might be out of luck, but you also might get a black mark by your name in disney's book haha!The 10 days wording would be the same as what it was for just the colored bands, right?
I don't know either way, but if I had to guess at a long-term plan, it would be to ship as soon as you place & pay for the custom order. That way they're not keeping inventory on hand for months or running into the issues seen thus far, that they're out of what someone wants when it's close to their trip. Mind you, if they did that long-term, I don't know how that interacts with reservations that are far enough out to still cancellable with full refund.
The CM specifically said no email confirmation, she gave me one that I wrote down. She said I would get an email when it ships.Did you get any email confirmation of ordering that replacement? My CM said I wouldn't get an email until it was shipped maybe in 5 days. She did give me a physical confirmation number.

I'm not sure that they can help, either, but they appear to be my only hope since I've now talked to three WDW GS people who have said that there's nothing they can do until somebody (apparently on the ShopDisney end of things??) presses the magical "shipped" button.That super stinks. Are you still on hold? I would definitely talk to the people on the MDE end, which seems to be the number on the invoice when you get your bands. I placed an order for a castle band that went through, I got a confirmation, and the castle band actually shows in the little circle on MDE. But we'll see. Based on last week that should mean it is good to go, but who knows.You would think! Although I am not sure any orders went through today. It would be interesting if someone did. I don't think their intention was that people could order today. I think they are just tweaking and adjusting the process and visually bands came back for a period of time. They are gone again btw.

Hopefully! My confirmation email is timed 8:39 AM. I logged onto here, saw a report that they were back in stock, and went to MDE and ordered mine which was alone. Then I went to order 2 for my sons who are on their own order for their APs, and could only get one to "take", so I didn't get theirs. Now they are all gone and only the plain ones are optionsYou got one today?! Then it was working. I hadn't seen any positive reports![]()

We have a resort room only starting June 20. In addition, we bought AP's for the first time that we will activate this trip.
Is there any chance that even if we are unable to order the upgraded bands for room only, we could upgrade in person with the AP? Is this only on-line?
