Magic Band Shipment

Our MagicBands left IL today and have been transferred to the USPS regional location, so I'm hoping we will get them tomorrow or Tuesday!

Ours are currently sitting in Newark, NJ before it gets down to us in Princeton.

Shouldn't take but a day, but estimated delivery is for Thursday.

Update on my bands shipment: it has been marked delivered by the post office and is nowhere to be seen. My only neighbors (just in case they received it), are family and have not received any packages. I called the post office and they confirmed delivery to our address on our front porch, nothing.

My next question is what do I do? Do I call and get back ups or? I'm not sure the route to take here... and I'm a little worried. (Sorry if this isn't the place to post this, but it's along with the topic).

Have you checked every possible place they could have put them? My neighbor had something similar happen with a package and they put it at the side garage door that they never use. If not, could they contact you driver and ask where they put it? It might still be on their truck.

I agree. I would check everywhere. They try and hide packages because there have been so many thefts. I would also call Disney and maybe they can set some others aside and have them for when you check in. Mine is out for deleivery but I'm lucky because our subdevision has lock boxes.

So I just got my MB's today. They were shipped on Thursday August 10th at 5:00pm out of Davenport, FL and arrived at my house on Monday August 14th at 2:30pm. FWIW I watched the mailman deliver the box-Technically the package was brought to our front door though the mailman could have put it in the large package mail slot and left the key for us if he wanted to. He delivered it with our normal mail as I assumed it would be. FWIW the expected deliver date on MDE was listed at August 15-17th so we got them 1 day early.

May sound stupid but did you check the mailbox. The box they come in usually isn't that big. Mine was just left in the mailbox with the daily mail.

Mine just arrived, It had three in there and if I had a regular mail box it would fit but just a tad too small for the lock boxes. Its actually smaller then I thought. Missing one of the luggage tag straps. What is the luggage tag for the blue one? My orange one is pluto.

Got our magicbands today! They said delivery date of the 17th, so they are early! All luggage tags were in there and everything in good shape. Wow, these are our first 2.0s and they are sooooo thin! I like them. Excited to decorate ours with the vinyl decals we got from Etsy.

Well there's good news and there's bad news.... The good news: the magic bands are now in my possession. The bad news: USPS sucks at their jobs as my bands were delivered two towns over, despite being clearly marked with our address and the post office telling me they had no record of them ever...

for Disney1fan2002: here is a pic of Magic Band 2. I have small wrists also but found this one to be more comfortable than MB1 and actually fit me better because its thinner and more flexible.

I believe only packages get the luggage tags.

I'm room only as well so no tags for me either.

The luggage tags should be in one of the inside ends of the box. One of them should be marked Luggage Tags, and the ties that hold them on the luggage should be under the bottom liner of the box.

Well, the second set of bands arrived much faster than the first. These made it in about 4 days. Unlike the first set, these didn't make a side trip back to Florida before coming to Atlanta. They went straight from Illinois to the USPS regional facility in Atlanta and from there it took one additional day to get to me. Much better! Now that I have both sets of bands, I need to find a screwdriver small enough to do some rearrangement. With my trip involving two college football weekends, I chose my school's colors and plan to swap out the pucks so that each band is a combo of the colors: orange band with blue puck and blue band with orange puck. Go Gators! Not sure if I'll end up wearing them or going with a MagicKeeper when I get there though. While the 2.0 band is much thinner and more flexible (and more comfortable) than the 1.0 band, I find it less comfortable than the 1.1 bands that came out last year. The extra width to accommodate the puck is a little bit uncomfortable on my small hand/wrist. But maybe I'll get used it it quickly.

08-14 Delivered

Not too bad, though it would have arrived sooner had they just taken the package to Jacksonville in the first place or better yet sent it USPS from Davenport.

The funniest part is you received your MBs 3 days faster half way across the country than I did 82 minutes drive from Davenport (less for those with lead feet.)

I've been interested honestly in the paths that some have taken. Some just seem all over the place.

For 2 of our 3 rooms, the MagicBands were picked up by shipping partner on 8/16 and 8/17, and both are estimated to be delivered today in Michigan.

Our 3rd room, the bands are going to Carlsbad, CA... That one still only has the 1 entry on the tracking # since 8/17, lol
