I'm so excited to go in December!!! I love christmas and I can't wait to see alllllllll of the christmas decorations! I'm, of course, already planning everything in my head!

Yikes, scary! That is my worst nightmare to lose a kid. Glad he was found quickly.

It was terribly scary! We were all relieved when he was found!

This is why we'll probably be holding Billy's hand when he's thirty!

I can completely see why you would want to hold Billy's until he's thirty! It was so scary! I know he's 16 and has really learned a lot over the past few years but I was so scared for him! The funny thing was my sister seemed completely calm!

Our slow morning definitely worked to our advantage!

Oh my goodness gracious, time can crawl when you're searching for a lost child. Whew!

I'm so excited about Dec!!! I can't wait! One of the things I love about DVC, and there's a lt of things I love, is that I know another trip is right around the corner! Woo hoo!!!

It was very scary when we lost Justin! I'm just glad we found him quickly and he hadn't freaked!

It was really neat to see the runners and here people cheering! I tried to take pictures but there were a lot of peole and I felt bad kinda pushing in to take a picture I knew a lot of those people were cheering on family and friends.

I love that painting at the entrance to SSE!

I totally agree about the CS at Kidani....I love Mara but it would be so much more convenient to have something right there! I remember reading somewhere that because Kidani is DVC thinking that most people may have their own groceries/do their own cooking. I guess I am not most people!

Sounds like you had a great start at the MK! But I absolutely understand your CS problem. While Kidani and Jambo are close, it still is quite a bit away...

Oh my goodness. Nothing more stressful than a missing child, I don't care how old they are and especially without a cell phone!

I'm not sure I'd count getting up at 7:30 as leisurely...LOL! But missing the marathon crowd, very smart!

I know it was cold but it sure looks like it was lovely out and the singing entry just sounds magical.

We did have groceries, which worked out well for breakfast. But we didn't cook. I don't feel an urge to cook on vacation. We've talked about doing pancakes, eggs and bacon one morning on our 2 DVC trips but we haven't done it yet! LOL! A few mornings we just wanted to get out and would have grabbed a bit at a CS if there was one but we ended up getting something at the parks.

It was a huge relief to when he was found!! OMG, I think he took 10 years off my life!

We had a wonderful start! A little chilly (maybe a lot ) but definitely wonderful!

Going to Jambo house for a CS meal just kind of seemed like a hassle!

7:30 is leisurely for me I'm and early riser and so is my sister. That worked to our advantage! I called for a wake up call every morning and I think I had to call and cancel all but 1!

It was beautiful out that day! The sky was so blue! Just a little chilly!

The CM singing was so magical and a great way to start the day!

I've been thinking of you! Are you completely snowed in?! How much did you get?!

Hey Melissa.....

Just saw this! OMG....we have gotten more snow than I EVER remember having. It is crazy. We got 24 inches with the first snow storm and another ten inches with the last storm (philly got 16"). I have spent a lot of time in doors. When I did manage to get out I took literally hundreds of snow pictures with my new camera. I have also been spending HOURS editing my pics. Having a real camera is so cool, but its so hard for me to trash pictures. I must learn to only keep the best. At this rate I am going to need an external hard drive really soon. I have been on my cross country skies 4 times already. That's four times more than I used them in the last 5 years!

Anyhoo....my coworker texted me from Disney yesterday. They rented a careand drove down between snowfalls because they knew they would never get a flight out. Her 16 y/o daughter competed in American Idol yesterday and made it to the finals. Imagine how jealous I was with every text and phone call the sent me! I so wish I could have been there.

All the kids got sick and got me sick! Boo!! I've had a sinus infection off and on since November! It came back and I got the kids strep! It really knocked my on my rear! UGH! I also think I maybe suffering a little case of after disney blues!

The snow and this winter isn't helping!! DH and I are going to Sarasota in a few weeks and I can't wait! It will be super hard for me to know we're so close to WDW (2 hours) and not actually go!! DH will be sailing in a regatta in Sarasota and I will be enjoy peace and quiet on the beach! I'm hoping that will help my funk!

Anyway, I promise I'll be back ASAP with another update! Thanks for hanging in there with me!!!

Uh Oh....be careful what you wish for. I may actually start doing that. Fortunately I am at work so I can't post anything now.

I got the Canon Rebel Xsi. I couldn't decide and then my coworker showed me the pictures she took in Africa. They were gorgeous, so that's when I made up my mind.

NY Institute of Photography On line course?....Now that sounds interesting. I should look into that.


Wow.....a winter trip to sun - you are so lucky. I am dying for some sun. But I will admit that I have been enjoying some cross country skiing with all this snow. I love going out on a bright sunny day to play in the snow.
