Most of the onsite guys we called don't have the module needed to override and reset the slide computers.

My hubby went to camping world this morning and they may be able to help us tomorrow. Sad part is this same thing happened in July and we had the computer board replaced. We are beginning to think we should have bought a different unit. We are considering trading in as we are now nervous about it happening over and over again.

Sorry this happened to you, but I don't think that it's a "computer board." Same thing has happened to my slide-out. It is a mechanical issue. If you go under you slide out and look at it when someone is pushing the button, you should see a T-bar that's being turned by the motor. It will have a bolt at each end. One of the bolt's fell out or rusted out, like mine. That side is just freely turning. While the other side is. Line the slide back up and put another bolt in the hole.

We had a MH that sheared bolts all the time if you tried to bring it in a little too close (who doesn't try it til it stops, duh!) We had to keep a supply with us and it started to get routine - LOL.

Don't have that MH anymore!

Exactly what happened to mine the week after I bought it. $0.25 bolt that was over tightened.

I'm glad your issue is resolved. How do you like your new bus? Where do the kids sleep (I see 3 in your sig)? And when they go go sleep, where do you and DH hang out? I'm not sure what time kids go to bed when they get older because ours are still young. Do you have boy/girl twins? We have 4 kids - 3 and 5 yr old boys and almost 1 yr old boy/girl twins.

What did you have before your new one?

We have a travel trailer right that we got this year. We're new to this (DH tent camped but I've never done anything like it) and love it so far.

We are picking up the new bus next week. Can't wait to get it.

Our old coach was a 2008 Fleetwood Excursion. It has a couch with a queen sized pull out bed, and a dinette that converts into a single bed. My kids all agreed the dinette was not all that comfy, so we used a twin air mattress on the floor instead.

I have boy girl twins who are turning 13 next month, my youngest DD just turned 10. When we are camping we are almost always all up late. Some nights I am in bed before they are! So usually we all go to bed at the same time.

The new coach has a King bed, so I will sleep better It also has a queen fold out couch and enough room for the twin air mattress and/or a queen. The couple who traded it in said they often put up a queen air mattress and slept 6. This one does not have a booth dinette, it has a table and chairs.

I guess you have your hands full with 4 kids 5 and under! I don't know how you have the energy to camp!! We are new to rving as well. We bought our first coach just a year ago, but we do love it!!
