Lunchable deal at Target

my coupons , say SuperTarget webcoupon on the top and
Supertarget on the bottom .

So Im going to head there tomorrow instead of the regular target.
Its about 10 min. further , but soooo worth it.

My regular Target accepted the coupons. I picked up several packs of bacon and about 5 of the Lunchables. After reading the ingredient list, however, I decided there was no way I would let my kids eat them. I tried one and thought they were nasty. Hopefully DH will have them for lunch a couple days just to get rid of them. I did learn a valuable lesson though-just because something is a great bargain doesn't mean that I "have" to get it.:rotfl2: The trip wasn't a total bust though, because they had SoyJoy bars on sale for $0.80 and I had several coupons to get $5 off ten, so they ended up being about $0.30 each. And those are actually something I will eat.:hippie:

You can see from the coupons in this link that about half of the coupons are Target and not SuperTarget coupons. Like the French's mustard and Dr. Pepper coupons. http://coupons.50webs.org/

Anyway, here is what I got yesterday:

4 oscar meyer hot dogs $5.08-$4 = $1.08 total
17 Lunchables $29.63-$17 = $12.63 total
4 Pepsi 2 liter bottles $4-$2(b1g1 free) = $2 total
2 Market Pantry hot dog buns $2.12-$1 = $1.12 total
1 Reynolds Aluminum Wrap $2.50-$1(manu coupon)=$1.50
1 Arnold bread $2.50-$1(manu coupon)=$1.50
1 Hershey's Cacoa Reserve $2.99-$2.99(manu coupon)=$0

Total=$19.83

Just so you know, there are 3 lunchable options that are "natures choice" which means that they are less fat and calories than the regular lunchables.

I personally don't like the lunchables either, but my kids and husband do, so for .50 each and under 300 calories, works good for us. Just wanted to let everyone know there are the healthy option lunchables out there!!

REMINDER: The deal on the Oscar Mayer, Pepsi, & Motts ends tomorrow!!!!!!

I purchased:
10 Motts
8 Pepsi's
12 lunchables
8 hotdogs
2 mustards

for:

23.80............

Ugh, I went to our local Target with my huge stack of coupons for one last stock up - and they said they just had a meeting that morning about the Supertarget coupons. The young male cashier called the manager as soon as he saw my stack. The manager told me that they had been having problems with the Supertarget coupons, and would no longer honor them. As my blood pressure started to rise, I explained that I had used them many times at this store with no problems etc.....The manager said they weren't allowed to take them anymore. As kindly as I could, I tried to express that it was the store's responsibility to alert the customer of a change of policy - like a sign on the door or in the pantry area. She SO didn't care, and just started bagging the things I no longer wanted. Sigh. Really frustrating and embarrassing.
As soon as I got home I emailed Target about my experience. They emailed me the coupon policy (YES, Target is responsible for taking the SuperTarget coupons!!!) and said they put two $3.00 coupons in the mail for me. I emailed back that they needed to make sure the managers are aware of this policy - my Target is about 30 minutes away from me - I don't want to waste the gas on another trip! We'll see what they say now! Just thought I'd let all my fellow coupon printers know!!!

Anyway, went back to a different SuperTarget by our house...we are very lucky, I have 3 that are fairly close to my house. The funny thing is, THIS one had ALL the lunchables for $1.52:eek: I was excited. We are going camping next week and these will be just perfect.

I bought all the "sensible choice" options, which my son's actually like the best:thumbsup2 and a couple others.

Got 4 different bags of fruit..1lb each for a grand total of .96 for 3lbs:thumbsup2

Anyway, we are good for awhile, and thanks again OP for this post!!!:cloud9:

I got four of the lower fat Lunchables and the meat was awful. I could eat about half of a piece and the rest had grizzle in it. Not such a good bargain for me either!

I really don't know what to think about Target's "policies". They seem to just make them up as they go along. As a PP stated, these coupons are a form of advertising for ALL Target stores. If the coupons get me in the store, then they have served there purpose and they should honor them. Next time you go, definitely take a copy of that e-mail with you. Maybe that will help. Ugh. I know how frustrating it is. But, I would have walked right out the door without buying a thing after your experience. Did the manager say anything about the coupons that are marked Target, not SuperTarget???

I went to a regular Target yesterday armed with a boatload of coupons. The cashier scanned them all without a problem.

I loaded up on baby food (for dog treats!), Dr Pepper (on sale for $2 for a 12 pack, minus $1 coupon - I don't drink soda but DH does), hot dog and hamburger buns, and some bacon, lunch meat, couple more Lunchables.

Great deals!

I bought about 8 or 10 small bottles myself so I do not think 12 is excessive. And I do buy the smallest condiment sizes available like the other poster. I am a freak about open containers so if anything lasts in the fridge for more than a week I will toss it out. I've watched way too many of those clean house series where the fridge bacteria comes back something awful and it has warped my brain! I KNOW it can go longer and many others do just fine using condiments until they are finished up but I can not bring myself to try it.

I grew up in a one use only towel household.... the germaphobia is cemented to my brain at this point.

If you get lucky...some of the Dr Pepper 12 packs have a coupon for a free 20 oz. bottle of DR Pepper.

I picked up 4 12-packs, plus 3 free bottles for 7.88

HollyK- How did you get the Dr. Pepper so cheap? Ours is $3.99 each.

Soda prices are done regionally (which is why they are rarely printed in national ads).

our Target has 12 packs for $2. Minus the $1 coupon, it's 12 cans for a buck.

:cheer2: Woohoo- Off to Target again! Will buy some DP now too.

Is there anything I should do to bread before freezing it? Rewrap it?

I have never had any problem freezing bread just as it is and then letting thaw on the counter when we are ready to use it. I have been doing it for years. Good Luck!:goodvibes
