Lunch Selections at Starring Roles Bakery?

I think this place is somewhere aroung the BD.

How is the selection and quality of lunch items there? Also, do they take the DDP? How late does it stay open?

I was just going to ask this myself. Counter service at MGM is so bad I am looking for something else. I know I have read good reports from a CM who used to post regularly about where he would eat in the parks. This was his favorite place to eat (non-TS) at MGM.

Allearsnet has a menu from Starring Rolls with some sandwiches and a Cobb Salad, but it's dated way back in June of 2004. I'm not sure, but it seems like maybe they discontinued those items and went back to strictly bakery stuff like cakes, pastries, brownies, etc. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong about that.

However, I do know that the Studio Catering Company is now open with its new "Mediterranean" menu. We ate there early in October and really liked it. Here's the menu:

We had the Steak Gyro flatbread and the Panna Cotta - both were really good. I would definitely recommend it over any of the other CS choices in MGM.

There is a place cart like across from Drew Carey that serves great cheese steaks and fries if you want something quick.

Starring Rolls does NOT participate in the dining plan (bummer)...and they have not had the Cobb salad thee for a long time either (bummer again!!)....I think there must be a concerted effort to forbid the consumption of ANY decent CS food within the confines of MGM!!
