Luau Payment Question

My next trip isn't until next December, but I am thinking of booking the Luau for something new -- and b/c I think my MIL will really enjoy it. Here's my question...

When you book the Luau do you pay in full or pay a deposit? (Don't really want to foot eh whole bill right now at the start of the holiday season!) Anyone know? This would be a group of 6.

Whenever I booked the luau (and it has been a few years ago), they took a credit card number as a "no show security" type thing.

It was not actually billed out until I picked up the tickets from Guest Services at my hotel, which I did a day or two prior to my seating.

Last year when we booked the luau, they only took my CC number, like CHUCK S said for "no show security". This year, the same thing...they don't charge the card unless you don't show. You can pay in whatever form (cash/CC/etc.) when you get to your resort.
