love this info....staying in 8552?

I just found this site last night and am glad I am not the only one who loves obsessing about Disney and our upcoming September Cruise. You all are awesome to share such great stuff.

Has anyone stayed in 8552 and what is the noise level like?

I stayed in 8550 in 2003 and will be staying in 8552 this year. The noise level was not bad at all. In the AM, we heard a little chair rearranging on the deck above us, but other than that it was fine. The noise was not loud enough to really bother us.

so in the same general area , on the 3-11 wonder.

No complaints of any noise here from our room.
Room hosts were wonderful!

We absoluted loved that stateroom - wish I was there right now!

We really didn't notice any noise. In the evenings you could hear the deck parties on the verandah, but inside the room was quiet. The location is ideal - convenient to everything. Have a wonderful time!

We stayed in 8550 and are probably one of the few who didn't like it! It was noisy when chairs were scraped across the 9th deck, you could hear kids running all over the ceiling, the sailaway party was loud enough that WE could hear it in our room on the Nassau night and trying to get our kids to calm down and go to sleep was hard. We ended up putting the sound machine on as high as we could to drown out all of the noise. Also it was nice to be 1 deck away from the pool but it stunk to go to anything else with a 3 year old and very busy elevators so we had to take the stairs and when he was wiped out it was hard to go up those stairs carrying him or coaxing him to walk.

We decided that deck 8 isn't for our family so we moved down to deck 6..hopefully that will be better since there are only staterooms above us.

We stayed in 8556 before and it was very noisy, especially early in the morning when they are arranging deck chairs.
