I'm hoping someone here can offer suggestions on this situation. My parents got back from WDW last night and sometime today realized the ticket they purchased for my father is missing. They do have the receipt and called Disney this afternoon and were told that they can get them replaced "on their next Disney vacation." Somehow this doesn't make sense to us and it really makes us uneasy having a ticket missing and not being able to get a replacement until possibly years from now. The guy on the phone claimed it was no big deal because of the finger scanners (that I've seen not work and the CM just manually enters the person). I pray someone here has better knowledge than the CM on the phone, which usually you all do! Thanks in advance.
I get my tickets through Under Cover Tourist and they never ask for my Drivers Licence.
We would be fine with the outcome of waiting to get a physical ticket when he eventually gets back there if we can make sure there is zero chance someone can try and use the original ticket. If they void the original ticket, is there a time limit for getting the new ticket (don't want to risk the information disappearing)? My father had over 3 years pass between this trip and his last trip and who knows when he can get back.
