Ausiello: You know that series-regular death I alluded to a few weeks back? Well, tomorrow night's the night! But riddle me this, Lost fans: When is a death not a death, but a brand-new mystery all its own?

Meanwhile, I was going to close this week's column by revealing the identity of the remaining members of Lost's super-cool clique, the Oceanic Six, but most of you seem to have it already figured out: *o* *a* *** **e **l* **** *i***.

I don't think it's a list of names, but rather a sentence clue of some sort. Possibly starting with "You can see" or "you can not see"? C'mon DIS'ers- we can figure this one out!

Great episode! Boy, when Sun was getting ready to head to Locke's camp and Juliet tried to stop her and they were arguing and Sun told Juliet she can't trust her because of all her lying, I kept yelling at Sun to slug Juliet and she did! Way to go Sun!

Ok, now we all know that the person we saw jumping off the ship in last week's previews was NOT Claire. Thank goodness!

Curious to see how the Michael/Kevin Johnson thing will play out.

So my whole family is sitting there at the end going "huh??" Why did Jin say he was representing Mr. Paik (Sun's father) with the gift of the panda bear? I just figured once they got off the island and Jin went back to working for Sun's father. (and I expected the panda bear to explode or something, like Jin was doing another hit job) But then when Jin told that nurse that he's only been married 2 months???? I think DH figured it out: he said that Sun having the baby was a flash forward, but the Jin scenes with the panda bear were flash backs to when they were 1st married and Jin still worked for Sun's father. (Isn't my DH smart? )

Ok, so now we know that Sun and Jin ARE part of the Oceanic 6, but somehow Jin dies before their baby is born.

All we need now is to know who the "plus one" is. We've got Kate, Jack, Hurley, Sayid, Sun and Jin.

And Ben just keeps getting creepier and creepier.....the captain made it sound like Ben supplied the dead bodies for the fake plane crash?

Then I have to wonder WHY the captain would tell Sayid and Desmond so much. I kind of believe that it's the truth, but wouldn't that be the kind of thing he wouldn't want other people to know? The old "I'll tell you, but then I'll have to kill you" thing comes to mind.

I think whether Jin is one of the Six depends on whether he dies before or after they leave the island.

I really liked this episode, even though I was sad to see Jin die. One thing that really confused me though was the dates on the tombstone. There were 3, which kinda threw me to begin with, but I figured maybe it was a double plot for him and Sun when her time comes. But the dates, as I remember anyway, were 3/20/80, 11/27/74, and 9/22/2004. I took that to mean that Sun's birthday was the '80 since it had no other date near it. Then Jin's birthday was the '74 and his death date was 9/22/04? Isn't that when the plane crashed? Or around that time, anyway? I know Lost time now, or last week, was Christmas Eve 2004, so are they saying he was dead all of that time? How do they explain the baby then?

I don't think Jin is part of the Oceanic Six. I think he may be one of the other two that "survived the crash" but for whatever reason aren't part of the Six. I think the last member is either Ben, Aaron or someone yet to be revealed.

Yep, you're right....9/22/04 is the date the plane crashed. Good catch on the dates, we didn't look fast enough. I saw the Chinese writing on the tombstone but that was about it.

I thought about that and thought that if that was what the captain was implying, maybe he gave them the bodies from the purge? I know Locke fell into that pit of skeletons when Ben shot him, but I don't know how many people were actually on the island so maybe there were more?

But the purge was years earlier.....did they somehow preserve the bodies all that time? I DO believe that Ben does the time travel thing, so it IS possible he knew when the plane would crash and prob. had plans for how to stage the fake plane crash. But to preserve the bodies for that many years?

The producers said Aaron wasn't one of the six, and that the rest would be revealed tonight. That's why I think Jin is one of the six and he died after the island.
