Okay, so what was everyone's favorite line from last night?
Mine was from when Ana Lucia says, "We're here." and Sawyer goes:

"So, what, ya gonna beam us up or somethin?"

I thought of it as she was sort of laying him to rest. I'd assume that she thinks he's dead, and that may have been her way of saying goodbye to him.

Who the heck made HER in charge? I love when Sawyer said: "If you hit me one more time, I'll Kill you!" Also when he called her ***ch! As far as Sun and the bottle, maybe she knows he "didn't make it" on the raft!?

That was my favorite part, too. Looks like he met his match (even though I don't like her)

I'm glad I wasn't the only one bothered with the peanut thing. It made me angry because media does have a certain responsibility. They could have used chocolate or anything else instead. Peanut proteins pass through breast milk, which was not known years ago when I was breast feeding. I had no food allergies in my family, yet I live daily with the knowledge that I about killed my son nursing. Fortunately, I ignored the LLL and switched to formula - at the time it felt like failure, but in hindsight it gave my screaming, failure to thrive infant a chance. Had I known not to eat peanut butter, I could have possibly prevented his allergy by avoiding early sensitization and probably had a successful nursing experience as well.

While, in this circumstance, the need for protein would outweigh the risk factor, it bugs me that the media showcases a nursing mom eating peanut butter. Along this same line, there's a line in "Sleepless in Seattle" that drives me nuts everytime I watch it. Meg Ryan's character says that he'll have white bread because he's allergic to wheat - further perpetrating a popular myth among people who apparently never realized that white bread is also made of wheat. It makes me want to pound my head against a wall and scream "what are they thinking?"

OKay, back to LOST. I'm glad Jin speaking english was just a dream. It would've really bugged me if he spoke for real.

I think that they were just referring to her previous craving for it, and Charlie's crush on her.

ETA- About the peanut butter thing- as I recall, WIC gives peanut butter to nursing moms (they did for me, we still have some and it was almost a year ago since we stopped needing the help!) so I don't think it was strange at all to see a nursing mom eat peanut butter- it's pretty much normal. Disykat- I'm sorry you had to go through that I can't imagine how upsetting it must have been! My reason for posting this wasn't to say you are wrong (because obviously it happened to you) but just to point out that it is not at all uuncommon (or even recommended against) for nursing women to eat peanut butter.

Think of it this way - Claire wasn't planning to keep this baby, she was flying to LA to give it up for adoption. I'm guessing she hadn't read up on breastfeeding/allergies/etc. like many would-be moms have. It's not something that would have occurred to me (who has no kids) in a million years unless a friend of mine who is a mom had mentioned it to me when she was breastfeeding.

Great episode! It was a nice break from all the "OMG WHAT A CLIFFHANGER" endings. I also liked seeing ROSE and more of the characters!

It looked like the other survivors were in a DHARMA hatch. But it appears some of their members haved died? Maybe they got the sickness? From eating the food?

I also think something is up with the food. If Desmond had been down there for three years, how are the shelves fulling stocked? Also, when Desmond was running away, I thought he didn't take any of the food, it looked like he took a whole bunch of whatever he was injecting himself with.

Gee, when I suggested last week that there might be something in the food that caused the "sickness", my comment was all but ignored. It came on the heels of the realization that Desmond LOCKED Kate in the pantry. Who locks a pantry?

I am so not liking Michelle Rodriguez on this show as Ana Lucia. She is such a one note actress.

Loved the scene with Bernard, made me tear up. Loved that they showed Rose saving the candy bar for him.

Did anyone else catch that Walt is on the side of the milk carton in the Hurley dream sequence at the very beginning?

I agree with you 100% about Michelle Rodriguez, all i see when I look at her is her mad face all the time in "Fast and the Furious". She needs to do a comedy or something, she just keeps getting typecast. Loved the Bernard scene too and also the scene in the music store where Hurley was looking at the 1 hit wonder section, and it was Charlies band!

did anyone notice in the trailer for next week it looks like they find a body and there is a shot of a teddy bear? didn't Desmond take a teddy bear with him when he ran away? (I thought I read that he did, but don't remember)
so I wonder if Desmond is dead?
I think the new camp of back of the plane people have lost their members to the "others" and or the "sickness".

It's pretty obvious that those taking care of the other "bunker" where the rest of the survivors are have left. I'm assuming that there is no one inputting the numbers into the computer which leads to the following questions:

Is it only the one bunker that has the computer and the "magic numbers"?

Is that fact that no ones at this bunker related to the small number of survivor's from the tail section. (They're living there and said there were 23 survivors right? But they only showed a few last night - is there a sickness or something else preying on them?)



I loved when Hurley said to Jin in his dream..."your speaking English...(and Jin answers) No your speaking Korean".... and Hurley's mom was cracking me up too..."that's Jesus calling..."

That is not why I asked. I thought maybe they were writing it into the storyline for a reason, meaning the baby would have a reaction to it, etc, etc. See my other post above.

So if the other survivors are in a different bunker, does that mean they are at a different station. And if so, what is this station supposed to be "studying" (like how "our" lostaways station was set-up to study the electromagnetic power).

I agree. Hopefully, she will tone it down some in the upcoming weeks.
