LOST - Season 2 (No spoilers)

Not a big fan of Michelle Rodriguez.

Her attitude is JUST like her character in "Blue Crush." I think it's her voice - it always the same, same tone, same attitude. :confused3

I don't think this was talked about.....Does anyone know what Sayid and Jack were looking for in and around the concrete? I didn't catch that at all. And who was in the chicken costume in Hurley's dream?

I think they were looking for a passage into the other bunkers.

Who was Hurley's best friend? He looked very familiar.

the guy in the chicken costume was the convenience store/gas station owner who sold him the winning lottery ticket

Did Hurley say that there was enough food to feed one guy 3 meals a day for 3 months? I thought that was what he said, but I could be wrong. If so, wouldn't there have to be another shipment of food soon, or something?

Good catch!

Right. I think Desmond knows way more than he let on.

Okay, so what was everyone's favorite line from last night?
Mine was from when Ana Lucia says, "We're here." and Sawyer goes:

"So, what, ya gonna beam us up or somethin?"
:rotfl:

The line that made me :rotfl: was Hugo's mom answering the phone and then saying: "Yes, it is Jesus and he wants to know what color car you want"

I loved when Sawyer told Jin to "pee" on his arm. I laughed out loud.

DJ Qualls, he has been in the movies The New Guy, The Core, Hustle and Flow and Road Trip.

Hurley's mom also had me :rotfl: That was the best line when she answered the phone and it was Jesus. I don't have a problem with Michelle Rodriguez, I think it's going to get pretty interesting once they are back together and have a Jack, Ana, Kate and Sawyer thing going.

Has Hurley told anyone besides Jack that his name is really Hugo Reyes? I didn't think he had but I've heard Locke call him "Hugo" several times. I kept waiting for Hurley to ask "how do you know my real name, dude?" Maybe it's because I can't wait to see everyone's reaction when they find out that Locke was paralyzed before the crash, and Hurley might have met Locke at the box factory and would recognize him.

Yes last season Hurley told someone his real name is Hugo. I don't remember the specifics but it had something to do with getting to know each other, seems Hurley was a little upset at the time when he said this. Went something like "my real name isn't even Hurley, it's Hugo". Maybe someone watching season 1 on dvd can clear it up.

I'm probably totally off base here, but my first thought when a great majority of the tailies were missing is that the other survivors had been eating them. ewwwww.

Thanks. Road Trip - that's where I remember him from.

My favorite line was definately Hurley's mom. She was sooo funny! "That's probably Jesus on the phone" "Yes, it is Jesus, he wants to know what color car you want." :rotfl:

Ok. Just a few things.

1. The guy in the chicken suit in Hurley's dream was Randy - better known as Locke's boss at the box factory...which, Hurley bought with some lottery winnings.

2. Remember someone in Canada commented on their season previews up there? They described a scene with our lostaways dancing on the beach and the voiceover being like, "One's a doctor (or hero), one's a [something], one's a cop..." and so on. There was speculation on these boards at the beginning of the season who the cop was. To me, it's obvious that's Ana Lucia.

3. I also picked up on the fact that the food Hurley tallied was for a man for 3 meals a day for 3 months...I have my questions now.

4. The symbol on the 'other' survivor's hatch walls appeared to NOT be the swan, but a horizontal figure inside the octagon...maybe the same that was on the shark's fin. I believe those 2 symbols are a match (well, they match more with each other than with the Swan hatch symbol.)

5. Sayid and Jack were looking for a way to get through the 8-10' thick concrete wall to see what was inside. That's when Jack said, Sayid look at this: and he nudged close to the wall to let his key levitate toward it. Sayid mentioned it must be a (fancy word for magnetic) core of somekind. And he also mentioned that he hadn't seen that much concrete poured around something since Chernobyl...the nuclear reactor site that exploded. I think we were definately supposed to be lead to believe that there is a reactor or something pretty powerful and harmful in there that isn't supposed to be accessed, or that already had an 'accident' like Chernobyl.

6. One more thing - did anyone else catch Hurley's friend jokingly referring to him acting crazy and to watch out or he'll wind up in a straight jacket. So, his friend must have known that he was in that psych ward, since we know he was in the psych ward prior to winning the lottery (because that's where he got the numbers).

7. Another theory I have been mulling over: I am trying to find the common link amongst all the castaways. We know they are all seemingly connected through various threads (how ever small or large the connection between them might be), but I was thinking about maybe death being a commong thread for them all. Think about the castaways and the death (or killing) we know about:

Sawyer - killed that fake "Sawyer"

Kate - killed someone b/c around the camp fire where Sawyer and Kate played "I never" [drinking game], Kate drank to "I never killed someone."

Jack - Mr. Rutherford's death and not to mention the girl that died on his table due to his dad's drinking surgery. Also, his dad died.

Jin (& Sun) - I thought he killed the person when he came home and had blood all over him but another episode cleared him of killing him and just beating him senseless. Though, I am sure he has dealth with death or killing because of his boss (Sun's dad).

Locke - possible a future revealed death or killing of HElen (maybe in an accident you all have speculated).

Hurley - his grandpa died.

Boone - his nanny Theresa (in that spooky premonition Locke had of 'Theresa falls down the stairs. Theresa falls up the stairs.' and Boone telling Locke it was his nanny when he was six and she fell down the stairs and died because he always made her go up and down to get him stuff.)

Sayid - being a soldier, he has been around death, if not killed himself.

Shannon - we know she was married. Maybe her husband died?

Claire - still looking for a death there.

Charlie - still looking for a death there.

...just a theory I am keeping track of.

The guy in the chicken suit was the convience store clerk who pointed Hurley out as the one who won the lottery.

Exactly. Which is why I was wonder WHY in the heck they were trying to access it! Something nasty is behind that 10 foot wall of concrete..
