My wallet was either stolen or misplaced yesterday. I have an upcoming trip. I asked for a replacement card. Told 4-6 weeks. Knew this was an issue in length of time from previous posters. Told I can go to Saratoga and get one on the spot. Problem we will not have a car so travel from park to Saratoga to park to home resort is not conducive to good use of time will at WDW. Just feeling a little stressed and feeling not much assistance is being done to help in terms of customer service:-(

I was able to get replacement cards at BLT during our last stay. It is our home resort and we were staying there, so I'm not sure that helped or not.

I asked if I could and they basically told me no. How did you do this? We will be at BLT too.

Not much else you can do, visit DTD for shopping or dinner since you will be next door.

Are you going to be doing something that requires the DVC ID? About the only time I can remember needing it was for purchasing annual passes and getting into Welcome Home Wednesdays. I think since 2006 I've only ever used a DVC dining discount once.

Are you married? Even in the cases I mentioned above, if your spouce has their ID you should still be covered (provided you both live at the same address and have driver's licences to show it.)

I just stopped down at the sales desk in the lobby of BLT. I didn't realize we didn't have our cards until we got there. The guy at the desk made a few calls, checked my id, and then someone brought out the new cards. It took about 20 minutes.

I forgot my card and just gave them my member number at DTD Guest Services. He looked up my account (I guess) and I was able to buy our AP's.

I agree that I don't think I have ever actually used my ID card. However, talk to DVC sales and see if they can send one of their vans to take you to Saratoga if you are told that the resort you are in can't get you a replacement card.

I can't see them saying no. Though their is also the bell services guys. I have had them use the hotel van to get me somewhere on property that was not easily accessible from the resort I was at.

Always remember - Just Ask!! Disney always tries it's best to accomodate its guests!

I ordered a replacement card for a damaged member card recently and don't remember it taking a full 4 weeks, maybe 2.5 to 3 weeks. Just trying to be a little encouraging......:)
