Hi everyone .. just found this site and would love some encouragement ... I'm sailing on April 29, and started Weight Watchers last week. Lost 4.4 pounds in the first week. Although I have a lot more to lose, my goal is to be down 25 pounds before I cruise. I hope to be booking a 2013 cruise tomorrow and would like to be down at least another 50 pounds before that. At a pound a week, its doable I hope ... just have to stick to the program this time![]()

I previously lost 36 pounds last year but have put it all back in the last couple of months :-( silly me!!
Welcome to both of you! MJGirl, good choice to go with Weight Watchers! It's the most successful plan in the world! I've been back with it since December 9 and I'm very pleased with my results. Tink, I had the same experience as you a few years ago. Lost 30+ pounds, quit going to meetings because I figured I could just do it on my own, and slowly the weight crept back on. NEVER AGAIN! This time I'm GOING to make it to my goal, even if it takes me 2 years. And I'm keeping it off!
Went to weigh-in this morning and I'm down another 1.2 for a total of 11 pounds. HURRAY! The next couple of weeks are going to be a little harder because I'll be traveling and won't have as much access to all the wonderful fresh fruits and veggies I have at home and I won't have my wonderful WW leader to help. But I'm going to find a grocery store and try to get as many good snack choices as I can. Also, I'm going to see if I can find meetings in the cities I'm in for the 2 Fridays I'll be gone.
