We have very similar goals. Mine is 35 lbs by Nov. 25 Dream cruise. We can encourage each other when times get tough. I commit to tracking my food and working out 6 days a week starting tomorrow. Tonight I will find the link to my online food tracking application.

I haven't checked in in a while but it sounds like everyone is making progress! We made it through Easter - the last of the big candy holidays until Fall!!!! :thumbsup2

Today is my weigh-in day and I've lost a total of 22 pounds since we booked! I'm down to my pre-baby weight (even though the weight is different places now :crazy2:). Now I want to get to my wedding weight and then my college weight! Only 50 more to go by our October sail date. I'm starting to believe I can do this!!!!

I'm hosting a bridal shower this weekend and if I can get through that without gaining 5lbs I'll be lucky :lmao:. I've heard chewing mint gum will make food less appetizing. I'm going to try it because a menu of danish, bagels, muffins, casseroles, and ice cream coffee drink is going to be TOUGH to walk away from! And I'm a "pleaser" so I never want to look rude by turning down food.

Good luck to everyone this week!

I have not been doing well at all and have gone back to some bad food habits. :sad2: The scale is not moving in any direction. Last night I ordered a months worth of Nurtisystem. I have done it before and lost about 15 pounds in two months. I am hopping I can have the same results again. My problem last time was I went from Nutrisystem to eating TONS of junk food. I am hopping I can use Nutrisystem for the next several months then ease back in to the healthy eating I was doing.

Ok

I know i can do this, I have done it before.

Last year about this time i took 4 months to loose 20 pounds.

I have hained about 10 back, flucuating but around 10.

I would love to loose 20 by my next cruise, which is March 1 2013, WE would be leaving several days before that to have a pre cruise trip to explore Texas before hand.

I dont think that is too much to loose but i am apprehensive becasue i just started onto some medication that i went off of when i started loosing the weight last year. I did attribute some of the weight loss to going off the meds.

SO i know i am going to have to drink ALOT of water which i dont do well.

BUT i am starting tomorrow.

I will be living by calorie intake which is what i did last time and it worked for me.

I have also done WW in the FAR PAST to maintain weight which worked for me as well.

SO, i shall eat cake tonight for tomorrow i will eat SALAD!!!:confused3

I have lost 30 pounds so far for my Sept 22nd cruise on the Fantasy, only 10 more to go. I eat lots of salad with just 2 table spoons of dressing. No cheese or croutons. I have a low calorie meal for lunch w/ salad. Dinner I usually have a can of Progresso Light soup with some knid of turkey meat for dinner. Turkey bruger, turkey sausage... I cut out all fast foods and pizza. I'm not going to lie and say it's always been easy but, I gotta do what I gotta do. I wish everyone lots of luck with their diets and keep up the good work.

Wow Michigan, That is awesome! I am eating similar but combining your two meals into one. The others I am using a protein shake from my doctor. I am also eating 3 fruits a day. The hardest part is no sodas or juices. I am only on day 6. I'd like to lose 40 pounds. We have 3 cruises booked for the next year. So the sooner the better. Trick will be losing the weight after each cruise.

May I ask, how long did your 30 take following your plan?

Thanks, Jill

I tracked my food this week and lost .5 lb. Still trying to get back on track from the last cruise. Just feeling tired this week, but still hitting the gym. Maybe next weeks result will be better. From Dec. 27 - March 27 I lost 27.5 lbs. Gained a couple of lbs over the cruise, and now I am at 30.5 lbs. Since I have come home, I just don't have the same drive.

I'm on day 5 of Nutrasystem and doing good. I am down 3 pounds! Although I don't feel it yet in my clothes. DH and I signed up for a 5K on June 23rd so we started C25K last night. The first workout went really well and I am excited we found something new to do together! lol

Lost another pound. I feel like I am finally back to my weight loss program since coming back from my cruise. Yesterday, I ran my 5K under 41 minutes. It was only 4 months ago that it took me 55 minutes. I ran for a straight 60 minutes at 7.5km per hour. This was the first time I ran without a break. today was not so good, more of a walk then a run.

I started Nutrisystem 10 weeks ago to get ready for my DCL cruise in 1 month and 1 week. I have lost 25.9 lbs so far and have another 8.2 to go. I am hoping to lose that by the cruise.

I have done WW in the past but I save up my points for bad things (Beer mainly) so I wanted a plan that gives me less choices and hence less temptations. So far, so good. Good luck to everyone trying to lose weight !!!

Ok, so i have a cruise in September. Leaving me with 4 months to work with. i would like to lose about 30 lbs, but would be happy with 20lbs gone. I have tried Weight Watchers before and find it pretty good, but I dont attend the meeting, i just have a copy of the point book. But i have the same problem with saving my points for beer. lol. A few of you have mentioned Nutrisystem? Whats this system like? I am a picky eater and like that I can kind of pick what I want with weight watchers. Is Nutrisystem free? or do you have to pay for membership or food or anything??

Anyone have a recommendation for a good scale? Ours is crazy. You get on it then step on it again 10 seconds latter and it shows 3 pound less. You can step on it 10 times and get 8 different numbers! It is on a flat surface and is only about two months old.

Hi all! Had a nice time reading through all of these success stories and motivated cruisers! Thought it would be nice to share my story as well :)

I joined weight watchers last August after graduating college and realizing I'd gained 45lbs over the course of 4 years...such a scary thought considering my age, I wanted to get healthy so I could live a long and happy life! I worked hard and soon found myself losing the pounds and feeling good about myself. I hit a plateau about 20 pounds in, like usual and got really depressed about it...my mom (who's been by my side through thick and thin) won't let me quit!! I have a lot of weight to lose, and when I lose focus I just think about my mom and how much she cares about me. I am now down 50 pounds!! With about 70 pounds more to go, I can do this, I can become a healthier me...my weight is not going to rule my life!

When I hit 120 lost, I am going to go on a Disney cruise to celebrate!

Please keep posting. You have a wonderful story and I can't wait to hear the day you book your cruise for your 120 lb accomplishment. You should be proud of yourself on your success to date. Next Sunday is Mother's Day, I am sure you are going to have a big hug for you mom in thanks for her support.

We will be on the same cruise! I have to get back in the gym, I haven't been in over a week! I have 10 - 15 left to lose and it is proving to be the hardest!

Okay, now I really have to work at it, so we can meet, and see our accomplishments. I have the picture from my Dec. 2011 cruise that I keep comparing myself too for motivation.

Even though I am working out 6 days a week and recording my food, I am finding it very difficult. I am half way to my total weight loss and the results are so great, I just want to cheat - like eating 5 chocolate wafers, and not recording them. I talked to my trainer today, after working off my ..... and she said it is not uncommon to get to this point, and just to think of the end goal. I am in the size of clothes that was my goal for Sept. I just have to think that I may end up wearing smaller sizes then expected because of the exercise. Wouldn't that be cool. :yay:

Yes! I have pics from our annual Disney Christmas pics so I can see the progression over the last few years. Righ now I have a pair of jeans my sister gave me hanging on my bedroom wall beside my bed. I want fit into them by cruise time!

I have an internal battle everyday over pizza/cheeseburgers vs. Turkey & Chicken

Today I end my week of birthday gluttony and get back on track! Healthy meals & back in the gym!

Hope you enjoyed yourself. This weekend is my birthday, and then of course Mother's Day when my husband takes me out for brunch, so he does not have to cook dinner. I plan to hit the gym both days, and take the dog out for a walk. This should help counter balance any treats.
