Loooong wait on the phone!!

I am on hold right now to modify our reservations since the new discousnts were released. My wait time is more than 30 minutes! Yikes! And I'm not sure I'm on hold to speak to the right person. I was already cut off once and some how ended up on the Spanish menu (I speak very little Spanish!). It's been a journey...hopefully it will end with a discount on our vacation!!
 
i'm on hold too. I don't have speaker phone so I can't even put the darn phone down. I'm sure I'll have a crick in my neck by the time they come on, lol
 
Samr here and I also got dropped the first time. 25 minutes and counting...
 

Me too. I'm almost thinking about making a new ressie online and just cancelling this one later when it's not so busy. This proably wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't so tired. I work second shift so I didn't go to bed until 1:30am.
 
Hope your patience pays off - I got through first thing and the very thorough and well informed CM spent over 15 minutes with me checking all the various options and leaving to double check the details on some of the new offers. . . excellent service. . . sadly, nothing available for my dates and resort choices that will save me any money. I'm sure the waits today will be long as they have a lot to check and the system is probably running a bit slow - she kept saying she was waiting for info to come up. Good luck!!

That's what I did. I was booked online within 10 minutes! I will call in later today and cancel my other reservation.
 
I have been only hold 28 minutes and was told it was a 30 minute wait. I am on here for the duration!!!!!

33 minutes so far! But I think it took at least 10 just to get through all the automated suff. That part just keeps getting longer and longer.

Same think for me. I am already booked with a room discount. Was hoping for free dining, but sadly my dates are still blocked. :sad2:
 
Hang in there everyone, when I called it said there was a thirty minute
wait but it wasn't that long. Finally, a discount for the people that missed
out on Oct-Dec. Free Dining!!! Just got 40% at Beach Club, I feel so much
better. We orginally had AKL booked but with with only 25% Discount I canceled, what is up with that!!??:confused:
 
I booked online before 7 with 40% discount. I am going to call later today or tomorrow for special requests with our reservation - Ex. need bottom floor and close to bus stop for my parents sake.
 
Oh wow! I thought about calling this morning, because I made a payment yesterday on our vacation and it isn't showing up on my invoice. Then I remembered the new discounts today and decided that I should probably wait til later on this afternoon!
 
FYI...CMs can't find the AK9 room-only discount code listed on the Dis site, so there are some problems early on. My CM is currently checking with guest services right now. She said folks have been calling with this code but no CMs can find it. Does the Dis have this code right??

I would suggest if you are trying to modify a ressie to go online and check to see if your room type is available. If so, make a new ressie and get your discount, and then cancel the other. The website seems to be running strong right now, but as the west coast awakens it is probably going to slow up.
 
on hold for 50 minutes and counting on a thirty minute guess. My call keeps fading in and out. I need to modify existing reservations. If I book online won't that be trouble if same credit card is used?
 
I had about a 30 minute wait but I am now booked with the Free Dining! This is my first time w/free dining! We are going the end of Feb. so the free dining was my only option. Would have loved buy 4 get 3 free but I guess there is a chance that will come out later.
