Looks like the BCV reno may be starting

Received a couple of "Important information about your upcoming trip" emails today that says there will be a "resort refurbishment" during my stay. My first trip is February 06 and last trip is April 05. Got a notice for both of them.

I stopped in at the BWV model yesterday and they said the BCV renovation would start once the BWV was completed. At the same time they said the BWI hotel side would begin a renovation although I haven't kept up on the hotel side to know if they've been waiting for that.

Hmmm my trip is mid August too, haven't gotten email yet but sure I will. Does sound like its starting soon if a February trip got email.

Umm, unfortunately I got that same Email-for my stay last January, when the refurbishment was originally scheduled. Forgive my scepticism, but I'll believe it when I see it. BTW, we have a stay scheduled at BCV in about 3 weeks and haven't gotten any notification.

Sorry, I'm still skeptical. Didn't they give a date at last year's condo meeting-that time frame didn't come to pass.

Same here, late May. It'll be fine. They said it would be happening mostly between 9am-5pm when were usually not at the resort anyway. Just like Park/Ride refurbishments...never seems to phase us one way or the other

Got letter in mail today stating that there would be refurbishment noise during our trip beginning 8/13.

Wish they would publish some sort of schedule. Obviously they have some sort of idea if they spent the money to mail all the notices. I would like to get a tentative idea of when it would complete. I would love to try a BCV renovated room next November. I am not sure if that is a realistic expectation or not.

I still have my letter that was mailed out in May for our stay that was a couple of weeks ago. At that time the refurb was supposed to start in April I believe and be done before the end of this year. So if they start right at the beginning of 2016 perhaps it will be done by Nov or at least the majority should be done and you'd have good odds of getting a refurbed room.

Just got back from BCC, our 1st stay there. The hotel is under renovation nothing at villas, our villa was in good condition (thank God).

Saw alot of mattresses being moved into Boardwalk
