Was just reading back and saw this .. It made me chuckle Tammie, and of course it is still true hahah we STILL have the holiday blues can you believe it, normally it's only coming home from WDW that gives me holiday blues like this

Erin - I haven't told Lauren about meeting the JoBros. yet. Have decided to keep it a secret and not tell her until we get into the arena. She will be so shocked!

Sounds like Carlos is not being very cooperative in Disney. Lorrie has texted that they blew off their Le Cellier ADR and Tutto Italia, too. Not sure what he's thinking, but she sounds stressed! I told her to go without him!

Is anyone else frantic about getting shots for albums or remembering stuff for scrapbooking the trip? I am such a nerd for worrying about this ahead of time!

Lydia - I just took 400 photos over a weekend trip! I don't think I miss too many shots! Seriously though, I keep my camera out at all times. I would be devastated if I missed an impromptu meeting with a character and I didn't have it on film.

When we were just there, my BSIL didn't even have her camera the first day in the parks - Magic Kingdom with 2 little ones. They forgot to charge their camera battery and were like, oh well. I would have freaked out and bought a new camera or sometihng! Seriously, i AM that anal!

Yes, but my camera(s) are bulky and my husband will surely grumble about them. I have a Nikon D40 SLR and a Kodak point & shoot, plus a video camera.

I used to carry my big bulky camera in my baggalini. I just bought an Olympus point and shoot that I love!!!! I got it just for Disney and other little touring trips. It's so nice to be able to shove it in my pocket.

I always take the Fuji though, just so I have it on hand. This trip, the battery didn't last long in the Olympus, so in the evening, I would charge the battery, and transfer the memory card to the fuji and head back out. It was a bit of a pain,yes, but worth it!

i had too purchased a new camera for the trip. I had an old olypmus but got a new cannon. it was nice to have a small one. it went thru batteries like crazy though.

love the pic with lorrie, kara. It's too bad that they are having a tough time. Blowing off those ADR's=yikes must have been a rough day.

I do scrap, just no time lately, so I was thinking about how to take pics for my DIS TR I write a few memory jogger notes at the end of the day, and still forget some things.

I just got a tiny camera, too - a Pentax - I'm not sure if it always gets the best shots - wish I would have gotten the Canon I went to the store for - but I love the size, and the battery is rechargable each night!

Erin, I'm sorry you still have the blues Is your OK friend planning to come and see you sometime?

Lydia - I'm about 2 hrs from Disney and it IS hotter than normal right now but next week is supposed to get back to norm - probably upper 80's in Orlando?

Tammie - yea on the new washer and dryer!!! That is my dream! You'll have to tell us what you think of it! If we move, I'm begging for a new washer/dryer and refridgerator!!!

Debbie - I got the text from Laurie about the bounceback - she said she and Carlos are looking at 2 nights in November, wanted to know about the weather. I think the heat is what is hurting them right now. It's about 5-7 deg above normal this week and she doesn't like the heat. Plus, Mia is probably cranky with it that hot. I just hate that it's not "perfect" for them!
