Oh, Laura, don't get me started on the mold thing. I so dont' want to know. I get WAY FREAKED by that. Good news is whatever was in the pan just spilled over today, but the pan was 1 inch deep in water. so - you know.

But the restoration crew (seperate company) will look for mold. They were pretty happy with the damage, seems very small, very recent - looks all contained. I'm hoping all is well.

Oh, Lorrie - so sorry to hear about the leak! I swear, it is always something! And why is it that we are the only ones who deal with it? Men who shall remian nameless, just go about their business like everything is fine... aarrgghh!

I'm so tired - haven't been sleeping well at all! So I'm just about packed up - why do I make such a big deal out of two nights? I guess cause I want to be comfortable and not miss anything. Of course, this trip will include extra hand sanitizer and lysol for the room......

OK, so about the transfer. We're kinda hoping that they say no way to taking over our house - I know we are upside down now with the way the housing market crashed in FL. BUT it might be good for the company to take the hit instead of us down the road! They would lose a lot of money at this point.

But Jeff talked to the controller and they are willing to spend whatever it takes to get Jeff back there. Again, part of me, happy, but a big part of me, sad. Very sad. I mean, Ally has really adjusted well. I just don't want to deal with this now, but something tells me that this will all be a done deal by the end of next month. At least that's what happened last time.

Wow. That would financially good for you but still it would be an emotional change. The one good thing is that you won't loose us a crazy friends when you move. Have you said anything to ally?

Hi Ladies! It's still raining and cold here. My party last night cancelled because everyone is either sick or afraid to get sick - alot of the guests are Mexican and were worried about getting swine flu. None of them have been there in awhile, but they watch the Mexican news stations instead of the US, and they have themselves all worked up. I was too tired to post after all the phone calls I got from family, and catching up on LOST.

Lorrie, I'm sorry about your leak, but I'm glad it wasn't the roof. Your trip is SO CLOSE!!!! I'm so excited for you- don't let anything steal your joy!

Laura, what did you decide about a trip? I know you had the truck and then the ceiling thing. Oh, and things are going well without Jim, except we all miss him. Thanks for asking. Ryan is there with him, so they get to see each other some.

Kara, wow! I would so be digging my heels in. I mean you just got all settled and decorated. I'm sorry they keep moving you. It sounds like the military. Good for you for making them take the hit on the house. Will you be back in the same city so Ally can be with her BFF again? You must be so unsettled right now.

Good Morning everyone and especially to Lorrie! I can't imagine what a stressful week you have had already and then to discover a leak in your attic! My head would have just imploded at that point. I get so frustrated with Chris, my husband, sometimes but in all honesty he is pretty good at helping once I get him pointed in the right direction. I just wish I didn't always have to be 'the decider' - what's for dinner, where we are going, what the kids are wearing. I think it's the other side of the coin from being a control freak wife - he has decided to let me direct everyone and everything which means it will be done to my satisfaction but that means he has abdicated taking the lead to me. Always. Sometimes, I just want to scream 'D@mmit, have an opinion, man!'.

Kara I hope everything works out for the best possible outcome with Jeff's job. We just moved last year from a 3 br to a 4 br house just 15 minutes apart and I thought my last nerve was ran over by the moving company several times! Seems like it's a mixed bag for you - good financial move and all that brings vs leaving your new home that you love. Hope the good outweighs everything else for you.

Congrats to all of you losin' girls! I gained 63lbs with my 2nd, Emmie, and it's stuck to me like glue. I started making low carb substitutions back in January but haven't been able to get a significant loss yet - just 15 - 18 lbs. I'd really like to have it off by the time of our late September trip as I remember the last time I hit WDW when I was heavy and I was miserable. I guess it's like everything else - a day at a time.

Jenn - yes, we've only been here less than 2 years, and we would be going back to what we call "home" but at the same time, I have grown to love FL. I never thought I'd say that! But we have a great community here, so close to Disney, 1/2 hr from the beach, the weather...... why would I want to leave? And we've spent a lot of money to decorate, etc. And now... let's start all over again. When we transferred here we thought this would be it. Now I'm thinking that we really should dig in our heels as Tammie said. Otherwise, they are going to try to transfer us every two years? I don't think so!

And yes, this would put Ally back with her BFF, but we might not be in the same school. We'd be in the same school district, OR the one right next to it, so we'd be close any way you look at it.

Oh, and the snob in me really likes living on a golf course. Jeff and I agreed that we want to do that again..... yes, we are

OK, I may not be on much between now and leaving tomorrow morning. I still need to buy more lysol!!!

Can I leave now?

I still have packing to do, not done.

We got the air fixed at the lovely hour of 10:30 (3 1/2 hours after the kids needed to be to bed.) Surprisingly, they got up at their normal time and are doing okay so far.

My ear pressure has transformed to pretty intense pain. I called the dr - go in at 2:15. I have a spot behind my ear that is so sore to the touch and I can't turn my head without it killing me - almost like a muscle is pulled in my neck. So....
1 - either I have a muscle strain with unrelated ear pressure
2 - I have an ear infection.

bets anyone?

I'm just so sick of this stuff. I have so much to do. Then to use the free time I was going to have to pack to go to the dr. just really chaps my behind.

Debbie- Don't hate me, but I"m not a huge fan of the Dole Whips. I drank off the pineapple juice and Nicolas had the ice cream part. I tasted it - but wasn't won over.

On a upnote:
1 - ceiling looks to be dry this morning. No raindrops on my head this morning at least!

2 - Not much longer until we are at WDW!

3 - All this stuff may lead me to tell PF to leave me alone - I've had enough.

4 - I have awesome buddies I can vent to - that totally get my upset. LOVE YOU GUYS!

Sweetie - here is where the psycho part comes in. I HAVE ALREADY TOLD HER THAT WORD FOR WORD! Then I felt bad and Carlos said he'd give her AK day as long as it didn't mean us changing what we were doing. SO I TOLD HER THAT.

The problem is she just doesn't LISTEN, GET IT, OR CARE.

Okay, wish me luck. i'm going up to the attic to make sure the pan is draining properly.
