I can't remember if anyone else on here watches House or not. I was so shocked last night. Here is what I found out though:

At last, our question about what happened to House actor Kal Penn has been answered. YES, KAL PENN (KUTNER) IS LEAVING HOUSE! This is because Kal accepted a new post in the White House! Yes, he's leaving for President Obama as Kal is offered the Associate Director position in the White House Office of Public Liaison ! Wow, that seems to be a meatier role to play, right? Less pay but better "long term" opportunities. You can read it all in the Rediff News. There's also an interview in the Ausiello Files about this Kal Penn brouhaha in House too!

And so much for the box of wheat thins and the M&Ms - I've moved on to the cinnamon pie crust pieces my mom just made! She had left over pie crust from the apple pie she made - she makes the BEST apple pie EVER! So she puts butter/cinnamon/sugar on the left over strips and bakes. So yummy! I've had a "few" so far.....

Girls are such *itches! Ally and my niece (10) are sooooo hateful to my nephew (9). I'm about to smack both of these girls! I'm much stricter than my sister is, last night my neice wanted to spend the night at Grandma and Grandpa's house with us - I told her NO because she and Ally were mean to my nephew yesterday. My sis just said no because Grandma said so. Wuss. I'm not afraid to lay down the law with other people's kids though. And I hope that other parents feel the same way when Ally is at their house.

Kara - I agree totally about the girl thing. Nicolas has 4 girls in his class. 3 are just so awful to him. "Your mom won't like your drawing because you colored outside the lines" etc. Something new every day.

Well, most of the moms invite the whole class to the birthday. Nicolas doesn't want those 3 girls invited. Not in a mean way, but in a he doesn't want them there way - KWIM? So guess what, I'm not inviting them. Maybe it will get the point to them that if you tease someone all the time - they might not want you at their party.

#1 - what do you pack in your carryon? (do you pack deod, toothbrushes or just a change of clothes for the overnight & swimsuits?)

#2 - has anyone ever packed WATER or JUICE BOXES in their luggage? Wondering how that will do.

With us flying SW, we will be allowed 8 bags - I was just thinking if I loaded one with water, etc it could be used to bring home stuff we buy.

Seems like I remember something about being asked about liquids - but I'm thinking that is mailing at the post office. Can't remember.

Kara, yeah, I know we had talked about it once, but I didn't want to put you out. If you are sure it won't then I will GLADLY take you up on it!!!!!!

Yes, SW allows 2 bags per ticket and then $25 for the third. One of the reasons I love them - well that and the direct flight into Orlando.

I actually called them - you can bring whatever. Her name was Debbie and she sounded like..... well...... Debbie! But she said they would be fine with it, but she had seen the way the bags were handled and in her honest opinion, she would be shocked if they didn't break at least one. Plus she mentioned to watch the weight and keep it under 50 lbs.

Not necessary if Kara HONESTLY doesn't mind. I didn't know if Jeff would give you way too much grief about that or not.
