Good weather is on it's way. I spent all day yesterday in the pond. The fish are going in on Sunday.

Hi Girls!
Busy day...ran around with the kids and then wrapped it up with "open swim" at the YMCA. I am pooped! Trying to do at least one or two fun things during spring break.

I am very excited for you Lorrie!!!!! It will be a blast.
Kara...I think it's funny that your SIL gets MY guts all churned. I think you should do what Lorrie said because IMO she has NO intention of paying you back!

Tammie...you are stronger person then I! At least you do realize you can retire by them both!

Laura...I hate the computer about as much as I love it! The control freak in me can't stand the things I cant fix or change on or about it!

People here on another thread are annoying me! In your guys opinions...how do you feel about playing around with promotion codes and such. I gamble with codes all the time when I rent a car knowing full well they might call me on it when I get there. I always have a legit back up ressie. People are very self righteous about this and I just wondered how you guys feel about it?

Debbie, I'm not sure I follow what you are talking about. Anyway, as a general rule, I try to play by the rules as best I can. I'm a big believer in karma and what goes around. As a general rule - I'm a big chicken about stuff.

Kara - seriously thanks about the diapers. That part works out well. The suitcase I put them in can be our suitcase for the crap we want to bring back. I did a week dry run, so it is just one package and 10 night diapers each and 10 swim diapers - but then I have a whole suitcase to use on the way back home for goodies! I will keep an eye on it thought and I might have to take you up on it once I get a good idea of how those suitcases are going to fill.

I hear you about flying, and the car - but man is that a long drive! Most people here drive the 10 1/2 hours to WDW - I prefer the under 2 hour flight though. Even though I don't like to fly and I'm practically praying the whole time.

I'm an nervous wreck in the air!

BTW - guess what? My BF got RIFFED today. Whole department.

I don't see any reason for people to start judging others, though. It's like the whole refillable mug thing. You can get people talking about stupid mugs and stupid cokes for days and days!

Tammie - I know this battle is coming from Nicolas and Carlos. I remember you saying that Star Wars scared your son - how old was he? What got to him? Some stuff I read says it is tame, some stuff says it is way over the top. I'm waiting for the "just let him ride it" speach from Carlos and the begging from Nicolas. He's not Ally though, he isn't a daredevil at all. He HATED TTA because it drove through space mountain. HATED IT! I think the dark and the screaming got to him. He still sleeps with a light on.

I've yet to really plan out our days. I want to do that. Each day I want to kinda have a rough idea of what to hit first, a top three must do and then just let the day flow. I guess that is why I haven't been to obsessed with it. I keep telling myself I want this to be so WAY more relaxed than last time.

I may need your help. Mostly I'm thinking of breakfast around 8 - park, lunch around 12 - back to the resort for nap afterwards -pool time. Dinner 5-6ish - then back to the room. I don't want to get the kids overstimulated and have Carlos hate Disney first trip. I need to keep it relaxing if I have a shot of going back more often.

We're under a tornado watch this morning. Haven't really listened to the weather. Just got the update from Mom. I so don't like storms. Oh well.

Oh, I've seen a bit of that too. I just think, is that ALL you have to worry about? And the STROLLER THING - where they "sell" their strollers when they leave. I'm not judging, just saying it isn't so much for me.

Hiya girls,

we now have 2 additions to the family!! 2 adorable girly guinea pigs called Cuddles and Sparkie. We gave in to the girls pleading for a pet and went wth the easy option..... they are really gorgeous and easy to care for and live in a hutch outside.

Debs - I play with codes all the time.... we haven't paid full price for anything in years - even the online grocery shopping.... we use all the codes we can find on code websites. But if anyone refused a code (not happened yet), it wouldn't bother me...

Getting ready for Easter, loving the break from school, especially getting out of the routines. BUT the downside is the house is a MESS and I don't think I can leave it this way for ANOTHER week. And Oh how i hate ironing...

OK Here is my code thing...if you search online you can find codes for discounts. The current code being discussed is a code for Puerto Rico and South America travel agencies and I just feel like it is harmless for me to use those codes if I can get away with it. I am not stealing IMO.

Sorry it's a fly by...off to bring Matthew to the doctor about something I am hoping I am overreacting to and then to the YMCA for open swim and gymnastics.

Debbie, I think all kinds of discounts are out there, and while I don't lie, I do use whatever kinds of codes and discounts I can. Heck, Jim got his park hopper free and mine was $99 this last trip. Discounts are good

Tessa, congrats on the guinea pigs! Let me know how much you love them in about 6 months! (Been there, done that - goats, lambs, guinea pigs, kittens, birds, fish, and a lizard that looked like a snake with legs, as well as our dogs whom we loved.)

We had snow again last night on our way home from my mom's for my niece's birthday party. It is only 40's today. I'm watching the weather channel to see if I can hear anything about the tornado near Lorrie, but nothing much is on - OH, THERE IT IS - UGLY UNTIL 4PM My cousin lives in MJurfreesboro - they are talking about there now.

Today is Jim's birthday - I got him Pinnocchio for him he likes Jiminy Cricket! Maybe I'll take him out to dinner. Mark and Lindz are coming home. Jim managed to wake the kids up at 5am this morning, so it is now 11:30am and they have had their lunch and are napping so we can try to get to the airport to greet mommy and daddy. I may try to nod off myself.

Hello, everyone. We're still here. WILD DAY! There have been I think they said at least 12 tornadoes down at once.

It hit our county, but on the other side. Went over us! So thankful. It was the first time I pulled the mattress on top of us. At one point, there was one down coming right for us, but luckily it didn't stay down. It is the same one that destroyed homes in Murfreesboro.

Tessa - congrats on the pets. I had one when I was younger. I called him Nubbin. Why? You put in a finger, and you drew back a nub! But he LOVED carrots so much. He would just scream when he thought he would get one.

Kara is driving in today. She is stopping overnight in NC to not be driving when the line goes through. So she won't be home, but should be safe & sound.

I feel like I need at least 3 very stiff drinks. I feel so emotionally spent. Trying to not let on to the kids how bad it was really took a tole on me today.

Lorrie, thanks for calling. My cousin was actually in Minnesota with her mom, but her family was home in Murfreesboro, and she said houses around theirs were hit, but her home was okay. I'm glad you are okay - hope you had that drink!

Hey Lorrie - Thanks for the text. Glad you're ok.

Sorry I'm MIA again. My life has just sucked these past few days. I haven't been outside in two days - Amanda has been SO SICK! I think this thing has been brewing for the past few weeks. I was afraid we were going to be in the hospital yesterday but held off. She had a good night last night and is improving. Now, I have a horrible cold myself.

On top of that, I turned on my computer this morning and have nothing on my user account! NO files; NO pictures; No programs - all of my personal settings are wiped out! I can't even tell you how sick of this I am! No warning whatsoever. I can't for the life of me figured out what happened. Good news is I'm able to log on under Lauren's user account and access the internet but I'm going to probably have to lay out some money now to have someone check out the problem. Yes, I broke down and had a crying fit this morning.

If I don't get back on today, hope everyone has a lovely Easter!

I brought Matthew to the doctor about the gray patches I saw in his eyes and the doctor said they have probably always been there and it was nothing to concern myself with.

I brought the kids swimming again yesterday and then Elizabeth had gymnastics.

I am wiped out and crabby. I know that part of it was deciding to do my "eating technique" to bring my weight back down since it was creeping up up up up. It worked like it always has but I think it makes me irritable. My energy level is up but I do get crabby. BUT the crabbiness could also have to do with being on spring break with freezing cold weather and I do have to do the two family split on Sunday which even though it seems like it will be smooth sailing and fair I still hate it!

Hiya all

I just knew one of us would have had Guinea pigs before!! Don't feel so alone with them now if you know what I mean - have never had them before and haven't a clue other than books about them, so be prepared for questions girls!! Ours love grass, hay, carrots and broccoli, but won't drink water from the pet bottle.... still, they are peeing everywhere, so they must be getting enough fluids I guess..

Debs - looking round my living room - with a hubby with flu and 2 girls playing Indiana Jones Lego on the wii - it looks like a bomb has hit it. I finally relented and got them the invincibility cheat code off the web - otherwise they would still be at the first mission!!! Are you doing the "duty" family flitabout for Easter??? I'm "lucky" mum is 700 miles away, so just the in-laws to deal with. Bit sad though....

The girls decided to make us something "unusual" for Easter - so lots of craft stuff out, and in the corner under a blanket in a shape about 4 foot tall "it" stands - I'm not sure but it looks like it might be - wait for it - an Easter robot!! They like wordplay at the moment so Easter rabbit / Easter robot.... we will see tomorrow....

Debbie- I am sorry you are having a yucky day too. I would use the code if others are having Luck at it. My feeling is the rental car companies are charging double what they were last year so I say go for it. Mike and I pricelined a Minivan last trip and it worked out great.

Lorrie- I am so glad to hear everything is OK and everyone is safe.

Things are crazy here weather stinks inlaws are here Mike is in a bad mood. I am ready to runaway to someplace warm.
