That is just wrong. From what I hear though, the CMs are pretty strict if you can't provide a confirmation# they have every right to turn you away if you're not on the list. Why is it so difficult to just call and actually make an ADR? That is so something BSIL would do.

Oh, yeah. I imagine BSIL as her sometimes - just in actions. They seem similar. I think they thought about it, but then insisted they "lost" her reservation and ripped the CM a new one. I just feel like giving them a call at CMs and a heads up to her plan. It makes me so mad I can't stand it. That is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo something my mom would do too. I just don't get it - why not just make the stupid ADR - or sit and wait for a no show. It isn't that hard.

I am so hoping she doesn't show up at one of our ADRs and try that. I just think it is very unfair to do it!

She does junk like that all the time and always gets away with it. I so hope they tell her if they can't find it by name or phone number she is out of luck!
Not to be hateful, but I would very much like that. I just hate her doing things like that so much.

FOR INSTANCE, when I first met her she borrowed my new washer and dryer to do her scrubs. Well - she had a SHARPIE in her pocket that got all over my new dryer. She just said "man, that stinks" and walked away while I hung upside down inside the drum cleaning it with alcohol so it wouldn't get on all my clothes when I dried them. Sometimes the friendship has felt like gum on the bottom of a shoe.

Carlos has called me 3 times today. I think he is very worried by my mood last night. He had it coming, I tell ya! He better come home and say he is sorry becuase there is more where that came from. He even asked if I had a BOYFRIEND today - Yeah, right. Like I would take another mess on! I'm already raising THREE children, that is enough for me.

I'm tired. I have a headache. The flippin weather better be so I can get these kids out of the house tomorrow or I WILL GO MAD! THey have been hitting and screaming all day - so I take the TV away. Can you imagine how my afternoon has been?

My you girls were chatty today! I've only read thru page 174 but felt the need to comment.

Amanda came home from school early AGAIN today. We started a new oral contraceptive this morning and she had a tough time at school. Don't know if it's related though. Sometimes the nurse at school is such a dingbat. I swear, she talks about Amanda doing stuff at school that I NEVER see her do at home!

Debbie - I thought I saw pix of Zac in NY this week. And according to my Tivo, it IS this saturday night that he's hosting. So you can watch him while you're hiding those easter eggs!

And as for my JoBros. connection, my friend has to wait for his friend to come back home to ask him about setting up the meet. It's funny - I saw pix of them in Texas shooting some video this week and I saw the bodyguard/friend with them. What a cool job!

Jillian - I'd love to meet up. I just feel like I can't go far from home these days because the school always seems to be calling about me getting Amanda. I think this 3-day weekend will do us some good. Hopefully I'll get her back in shape and she'll be better for next week. What is your work schedule like?

Kara - I'm sorry but I'm LMAO at the snow pictures!

Cammie- I work Monday, Wed and Friday 7am to 7pm and as long as Mike is home I don't mind making the trip closer to you. We can talk and plan.

Lorrie- I have given up until the meds start. I actually gained 4 lbs on weight watchers does that make any sense. No for Luggage I have a great list I use for planning it is on the mousesavers website. It has everything you need or could ever need. Honest I packed half of what I did last trip and I had more than enough.

Tammie- Glad to hear your weather is so nice. Mike and I are thinking of taking a trip to Seattle next summer and we are going to make a drive to Disneyland. I was hoping if you are around we could meet up.

Well I won't be around tomorrow until after work, but I can't wait to tell you all about it. Hope everyone has a great day.

Lorrie - honestly, I think I WOULD call CM and give them a heads up. That is just so wrong in every way!!!! BSIL goes off on people all the time, belittles them, etc, just to get her way. I can so see her doing this. And the sharpie in the dryer??? Nope. I would NOT have kept my mouth shut.

I'm already stressing over dinner with BSIL - so she STILL owes us $26 that is almost a year now. And get this. She now owes us another $30 for the flowers for Jeff's mom after surgery!!!! She didn't even call to order flowers. I called Jeff and asked him about it. He called BSIL, and she told him to order. OMG! Can I tell you how pissed I was when he told me??? They are so messed up! My sis called me the day before and said, "hey, I ordered flowers for mom - you owe me $25." Done! And I put the check in the mail that day. THAT is how responsible people handle stuff like that!!!! Can you tell I'm all worked up over this again?????? Doesn't take much where she's involved. I just know I'm gonna make some smart a$$ comment at dinner like, "so, you buying our dinner to pay us back?" or something equally witchy. I've had it. I'm so over that family I just don't want to be bothered by it. And it makes me so small. kwim? They will be so PO'd that we're staying at AKL and Jeff thinks it's funny. That's what I mean about us feeling small. It's the little stuff.

Kara - Okay, seriously, I think you should sooooooooooooooo let her pick up that Boma tab. It will be $67 for you, Jeff & Ally. I would just say "instead of you getting me a check for this and that - you can pick up dinner tonight and we will call it done". That is so stupid for her to wait so long to pay. I actually stress over making sure people get their money. I just don't get that. And that is sooooo what my friend would do.

I mentioned to her I wanted a kitchen for Mia - she said she'd give me hers if I would cover shipping. I told her if it was cheaper than $20 fine, if not forget it. She takes it to UPS LETS THEM PACK IT and tells me I owe her $42 for shipping! I paid it, but WTH? I sent her at least 2 boxes of Gap clothes for her kid - paid shipping, didn't ask for a dime and she couldn't stick to my $20 limit?

If she tells me that she is doing her ADR scam again, I'm ratting her out. However - I know from my case we were at CP and they didnt' have my ADR down and the ADR number didn't work. They just pulled it up by my phone number - they had our last name spelled wrong and I was one digit off on the number. So maybe that won't work for her anyway. It was a few years back the last time she was there.

Cammie - I'm so sorry Amanda is not feeling 100%. Not to stir the pot, but I wonder if the nurse just didn't want to fool with it and embellished a bit? At any rate, I hope she is doing better.

We are suppose to get to 66 later on today! Our 7 day has two days of 50's (weekend of course) and then the rest is right around 70

I got no where with the packing last night. I was just too stinking tired. I started reading Bob Harpers book. So far, very good. Deals with the reason behind the weight. Maybe just what I need.

Hey everyone! Just a flyby - cool and rainy today. Mark and Lindz left for Texas this am. Actually their flight was delayed by weather in SF, so Mark just texted me that they are leaving now. It was really hard for them to leave the kids here with us. They will be back on Friday. They are going to a job fair for teaching positions there. I am really sad, but on the other hand, they need to grow up and this will be really good for them. We are thinking Jim will retire in 3 years and we'll be snow birds there so we can live part of the year near each of our boys. I really wish we had more kids now. I don't think I'll ever be ready for a truly empty nest.

Jillian! It would be so great to meet up with you! Keep me posted!

I'm loving the comments about the BSILs and the ADRs! I would love to be a fly on the wall the day the CM turns them away! Why do the rest of us have to go through the hoops and they don't I mean If I ever want CRT, I have to be up before 4am!

Not leaving until Friday and only driving 1/2 way. It's a 13 hr trip. We did 8 1/2 hrs on Saturday and 6 1/2 on Saturday. But that is because of all the traffic on the first day. So we'll leave around 11 or 12 on Friday and drive 6 1/2 hrs, then get up early Saturday and do the same so we should be home by 3 or so.

I took tomorrow off work so my sis and I will go shopping and hang out with the kids....

I can't believe it is time to start packing. My list is fairly scaled back. It is mostly things we need that I PROBABLY can't replace without a car - not so much "what if" things. Like Mia needs Aquafor for diaper rash, etc. At least we have 8 bags - I don't think it will take that many though, but a good four easy I bet! Tolietries are easy. I will start in on those maybe tonight. Then it is just clothing, etc. The big space hog down will be diapers.

My DSF is bored, so he asked if he could come play with the kids tomorrow while I go to the grocery store. I took them out to dinner tonight and he thought he would do that for me tomorrow. I am so excited! GROCERY SHOPPING WITH NO LITTLE ONES!

I made Nicolas' birthday invitations today. He wants Spiderman I'm torn between making his cake or just ordering it. The bakery has a really cool 3 story building with spiderman on it that he wants. It LOOKS easy. I haven't done a cake like that before, but I think I have the concept. It is $40 for 1/2 a sheet. I am weighing it out because I'd need a lot of frosting, and a good bit of black gel, etc. Plus I don't have a cake pan. What to do... what to do.

I keep telling myself with the party in 2 weeks. Soccer going on, and WDW in 3 weeks - plus his birthday, I maybe should just order the cake and be done with it.

Tomorrow should be lovely, so we are going to get out and walk a bit. I'm sure Nicolas is going to LOVE that. He always thinks I go too far.

Lorrie - ya know, I could get diapers, too. Just tell me exactly what kind. That would save you a TON of space!!!!!

As for flying: A) I'm a nervous flier. B) It was about $900 for the two of us to fly up here. No hubs on either end so super expensive. AND I want my own car when I'm here so that would be an additional expense. This way it is 6 tanks of gas and 2 nights hotel. So about $350.
