Im so ready for fall
its my favorite season. Football
pumpkins
.the foliage, its beautiful.
Me, too, me, too!! My fave time of year between back to school and Christmas.
Tammie - How fun about the football game and new friends. Sounds like you are having a blast!
Laura - Know what you mean about the volunteering thing. I no longer volunteer for a job w/the school PTAs, Band Boosters, church and Girl Scouts, but only on an as needed basis, and when I can fit it in. Are you and Tim OK w/letting the dog go to another home at this point?
Cammie - LUCKY on seeing the JB again! I've only used IE! Creature of habit...Anxious to hear about your ADRs!
Tessa - I hope that your girls' first day of school went well!
Kara - Yeah for Ally on her swimming! Funny about the jeans and cold 80F weather!
Debbie - Would you all consider getting your mom another dog? I know it's hard to think of now, but it really does help heal. I've seen it w/my parents. Having our second dog helped us when we lost our Bailey in Feb. Now I don't want two dogs, but I am so glad that we did then.
Tina - Coffee - I have 2 cups in the AM during the week, 1 or 2 in the afternoon, and the occasional cup in the evening if I am trying hard to stay awake. Weekends at home are usually 3 in the AM. TOO MUCH.
Erin - I guess I must get onto FB and see your vacation pics. I just know that I will get sucked in and spend way too much time on there. Now my Megan, who thought that FB was for old people (ha!) is on FB. Some of her friends have switched over, so she is on FB and mySpace. Tay is just on mySpace. They don't believe I will ever get back on Twitter or FB, but I will! They are just such time zappers for me! I can't manage my fun as well as I need to!
Lydia - I've been getting my stocking stuffers on etsy. It's been a time zapper for me lately!

Your no kids trip is getting close!
Hi to
Lorrie,
Jillian, and anyone else that I didn't mention.
No big weekend (3-day weekend

) plans - may go to second 1/2 of HS football game that got called last night because of lightning, but we are calling for storms again tonight. Not sure what's going to happen there. Tomorrow I plan on going to a huge outdoor craft show/flea market w/my MIL. They have it one weekend/month. It's about an hour's drive from my house. I hope to pick up my aunts bday gift there, and maybe a few things for Christmas. Our neigbor friends are having an end of summer get together/cookout at their house. I hope to get by my parents' to see my neice, who they are keeping overnight Sunday. She's so cute and so smart!

My girls just adore her.
As for Christmas shopping, I've only gotten some stocking stuffers for my girls, teachers gifts for the middle school teachers (they are getting peanut brittle from the MS PTA fundraiser!!), and misc gifts for private lessons teachers, car pool drivers, etc., but no big gifts yet. Only ideas... We have 2 Sept birthdays, 1 Oct bday, and 4 Nov bdays!

in my family that I need to cover before Christmas. I have the Sept bdays covered for the most part (got my sis a bottle of wine on her cruise and hope to pick up a cute stitching bag at the craft show this weekend for my aunt - to hold yarn needles, etc by the couch), the Oct bday (SIL) 1/2 covered, and I am going to be working on my parents Nov bdays this weekend - a photo pillow w/a pic of the 3 grandkids, and an album of our Nov 07 WDW trip. It's getting harder and harder to think of things to get them! Picture gifts are always good. My Taylor's bday is in Nov, and she wants a new cell phone (but she isn't due for an upgrade til Dec-need to figure that one out), and Darrin's bday is while we are in WDW. That should be gift enough for him (he's getting fast passes for the whole family), but it won't be. I need to think of something....We are getting the girls the high beds w/the desks underneath and re-doing their rooms for Christmas. I will be glad that they will have workspace in their small rooms.
