sick kids yet again. vomit on monday now a possible flu case. Katie has a nasty cough and a fever. Dr won't see her unless her breathing is really labored. Great. Just laying low and giving advil/tyneol. It makes sense they would get sick given it is nice outside. We actually could go swimming. it is nearly 85. oh well, at least we will get this out of the way before school starts.

tammie--i never know what to say when someone miscarries. I don't think you did anything wrong. just keep praying for her and she will get thru it.

off to play thomas the train.....oh and eat some oreo truffels. I guess since we are sick we can eat what we want right? Oh wait I'm not the sick one...hehehheee

Tammie- I don't think it was insensitive of you at all. Just remember she is going thru all of those hormonal changes like after delivering a baby. Just call and talk to her and tell her that you wanted her to know you care and love them.

soontobewed07 - We're transitioning to the big boy bed right now, so I feel you on the whole nap thing...DS will scream and cry and pound on the door but then about 5-10 minutes later, we'll have silence. Only once did he pass out on the floor in front of the door, every other time he's crawled back into bed.

I'm going to check out those strollers...I'm open to suggestions, who knew it'd be so overwhelming?! It's difficult to find something that meets EVERY requirement that I have. I'm not THAT difficult to please.

the bed thing can be very trying. I'm glad badookie is doing well.

Shelly--im no help with strollers. My girls are 5 yrs apart. I did have a cool one though that converted to a backpack. They don't make that one anymore though.

school starts the day after labor day. so almost a month away. it is the latest start that it possibly could be.

Tim is in Texas this week thru Thursday night so yup on my own. I'm really glad I'm not working anymore.

First off Tammie...I am so sorry for Dana and your family. I don't think you did anything wrong at all. It's not like you said ANYTHING insensitive at all! I get so mad at your kids sometimes but then I remind myself how young they are. Sometimes it shows with how they treat you. It's almost like they still aren't mature enough to ever put themselves in your shoes!

Cammie...great pix!!! LOVE them all. I absolutely loved the bit with them and the President. So funny! So cute!!! And my Zac WOW! He is STILL adorable and I love his new hair! Shelly...good luck stroller shopping! No double stroller for me. Never wanted to have to maneuver it around and have always gone with two. I especially did not want to have to fold that bad boy up and the ones that DO fold nicely seem SO EXPENSIVE!

Tammie - I totally feel for you - I sent my friend flowers and a card only to find out she had miscarried that morning. I felt awful! Thankfully she was able to bounce back and have twins with a little help!

Cammie - you can have him. He just thinks too much of himself - I think anyway. When I saw Mike Tyson with a pair of scissors I was afraid for Joe. All I could hear was 'Come hear boy - I'll make a man out of you' i was glad to see it was just a hair cut.

Pam - I just think I never liked these dirtbags in high school and I don't care for them now! Just wear something with a little cleavage and make those loosers who wouldn't talk to you then sweat it out now.

Deb - I know two more weeks I can't believe it!! I did some iron on shirts and will post pictures on Friday!

It's a Wonderful Wednesday!!

All I can say is 2 weeks from today I will be on my way to the Mouse's house!! OMG! I can't believe it's almost here!

Ok for all of you plus size ladies out there - have you gone to an Avenue yet? It's my favorite clothes store. Went last night for shorts and a bag and came home with a necklace, a cute purple top and a bag - only spent $23! Love it! I had picked up a pair of yoga pants for $7 a few months ago and live in them! I can even wear them to work and they don't look too much like sweatpants. Ok enough of that.

AARRGGHH! I want to change my ADRs for our girls weekend in September. I thought it would be fun if Ally and I did the Supercalifragilistic breakfast, then the afternoon tea at GF!! How girlie is that????

But of course I got an idiot CM and I don't trust her. I'm actually trying to book online now, and I'll end up calling back later. I think the CM was only checking the times I gave her, instead of the entire time frame of breakfast at 1900PF and tea at GF. Moron.

Tonight is Ladies Night at our cabana bar. The golf pro is serving as guest bartender so that should be interesting!

I get this all the time, too. I just bought Ally the first three Little House books, and she asked me if I was around then, too. It's funny - they just have no concept of time and history at this point. Either that or I really AM old!!!

So, two days this week I've been to the gym. So last night I was telling Ally I needed to get up early today to get to the gym. She said, "good for you, Mommy, you'll be skinny in no time!" I just love her!!!!

Have a great day girls!!!! I am going to try and cheer up! I hate this funk I am in and aside from the stress I have going on I truly believe things can be so much worse and I really am fortunate. Some days it's just harder to keep things in perspective then other days and my family (all of them i live with) have been driving me crazy!

I was laughing this week thinking about the times on our thread that we all got together for DP and were going CRAZY with all the smileys and pix! That was funny.

I still have SO much to upload!!!!
Part of my problem with the computer is I NEED A NEW ONE!!!! I keep thinking why should I post pix to the computer to only get a new computer. Can't get the new computer until the spending freeze is over! LOL

I think that is part of why I am so crabby - our freeze with spending. I do spend a lot of money doing all the things we do in the summer and now I feel like I can't do as much. Yes, we are doing great things and Chicago offers a lot for free if you play the game right but like today I would have loved to have gone to the water park all day but instead it will be more backyard fun. I know I sound so spoiled and I know that's why we are in a bind right now but what are ya gonna do right! That's life!

Made 50 bucks baby sitting yesterday! So I got that going for me!

Good morning girls. Still need to catch up. Yesterday, steamed the whole house, or at least our carpeted rooms. Today I SHOULD do the hardwood and tile, but after 10 hours of on the feet cleaning yesterday, not so sure that is going to happen.

I need to list a couple of things on Craigs List too - so that may be what I do today.

Debbie - yep, somewhat. ha ha. I see it almost daily. I haven't seen anything from you though.

I need to trim trees. I HATE that. I seriously do. It is so hot, but it needs to be done, but this one tree is a Crape Merytle - I HATE those stupid things. It is about 20 feet tall and needs to be trimmed back massively. ERR.

Anywho, brief update on me. I hate to post, but I feel at least like I'm hanging in there with my connection. I need to catch up and read because I am feeling like I'm so "me me me". Anyway, I'm taking advantage of my "cleaning bug" as long as it lasts. haha.

We have been making playdates doing art projects etc... It's tough but we are making it work things and it will get better.


Waiting to see what code is coming out today rumors of deep room discount with free dining we'll see I hope so.
