always finds fun in every project
and loves to keep busy!

So many neighbors complain how lazy their kids are
I definitely cannot say that about mine!

I bet that your DS would get along well with mine! DD is the same way, too.

We like to visit museums and such everywhere we go. This will be the first time we hit the Orlando Science Center, they have a lazer show going on certain days.

I am getting rather tired of the never ending cleaning, Sarah!

The unusual things were fun for awhile, like closets...

but every single day the dishwasher needs run
the kitchen floor needs swept or mopped
and the bathrooms need a glossing over daily

I look at that dishwasher and groan every few hours!


But I am fortunate to have one, shouldn't complain!!

I know!
It is sunny but cool in the mornings
I like a cup of tea in the gazebo while the girls have breakfast there
so nice to sit and talk with them while the sun warms my back
and the tea warms everything else!

and it is not oppressively humid

I am one of the only people on my block who don't have a cleaning person come over, at least once a week, to clean the house. Most have them 2-3 days or every day.

Yes, I am so thankful for my dishwasher. My Mom never had one.

I need to pick up DD10 who was at a birthday party sleepover.


DS just called to say
he didn't need me to bring him lunch

as our former babysitter, who is also volunteering on this project
is going to pack him a lunch and bring it to him at the pool
She is a former home ec teacher, and she makes lunches for the work crews each day. She made meatball sandwiches today and is going to be sure DS gets his!

It's funny, I love to cook but can't stand cleaning dishes.
I can only use the dishwasher for certain things. According to my religion, we have to keep 2 sets of dishes, one for dairy and one for meat. So I can only use the dishwasher for one, which is meat. I also don't put my pots and pans in there, since I don't feel that they get washed well enough.

I don't do pots and pans in mine either
they take up too much room, for one thing
mine is full of cups a half hour after the kids wake, I swear

and cereal bowls, spoons.....

but, the clutter is all hidden inside for the most part!

We also had 4 kids at home. Must have been a similar full sink!

Our building didn't allow washing machines (our apt. had no room for it, anyway). Had to use laundry room downstairs.

About to begin our friendly and free
babysitting service of the two and ten year old
while the six year old takes swimming lessons


DD13 is super about entertaining the two year old
and since I already ahve DD10
