Cruise line Popcorn bucket reuse

Can we take our Treasure popcorn bucket on the Dream for popcorn refills?

We’ve never had a problem with using the same popcorn bucket on the various ships.

If you Google the question you find sources stating the official policy does not allow buckets to be used on another cruise.
I know some report they have done it.
We dont. I never want to put the crew member in a position of breaking rules for mè. They might be reprimanded which would make me feel bad.

I had no problems refilling WDW and DisneyLand buckets on the Wish this past June.

Got off of the Dream last week. I brought a DisneyWorld 50th anniversary popcorn bucket and they filled it without a word.

Officially, no...but unofficially, probably. I used to work in concessions at a movie theater, popcorn is cheap to buy, and our inventory system didn't really track the popcorn dispensed, just the bags. Sure we might spoil popcorn that hadn't been sold if it was a large volume, but a handful of refills every now and then to the "wrong" bucket? No, that's not going to throw off the popcorn inventory estimates.

The reality is that most people aren't going to cram a popcorn bucket into their luggage.

Just me but having to pack a popcorn bucket would be more trouble than it's worth. On our Disney cruise the most popular movie snack was plates of french fries from Plutos Dog house on the pool deck.

My wife was the popcorn maker at a theater chain here in the 1970s. ALL the popcorn was made on Thursday night, bagged up and put in the warmer as needed over the next 7 days. No fresh made popcorn in the snack bar. They had to count cups, popcorn containers, hot dogs, hamburgers every night at closing. It had to match sales. Seems crazy to me because the cost of paying people to stay and do inventory HAD to cost more than any product that might have been given away.
