I dont think you understand the hardship - 7 course degustation menu to force feed myself, all that wine and liquor, choices between facials and backrubs in the lounge beforehand. This travel at the pointy end thing is quite a lot of work, so many decisions, so many glasses of wine to make them over

It seems like we're all going to be missing each other by a week or so. I'll be down for a quick weekend May 20-23.

I think I'm mostly envious of the extra room to stretch out, and don't some first class lounges have shower facilities? You'd be able to freshen up after the flight I'd think.

My next trip to WDW won't be until December. so I won't be able to join anyone for a hello and a meal.

I wish. I have *NEVER* been able to sleep on airplanes. I was wide awake the entire way to Barcelona. Boy, did I crash when I got there! That's one reason I'm heading to England a few days early. (That, and I just want to see more of England!)

After listening to the podcast, I'm wondering if John spilled the beans about something we didn't know about. I didn't read anything in the itinerary that says we'd have a meal in the London Eye. I did remember reading about lunch at the Eiffel Tower.

Is the London Eye thing something they're doing for us? Or was John confusing that with the Eiffel Tower lunch? Or did John spill the beans about something meant to be a surprise?

I haven't listened to the podcast yet, but OMG that would be amazing! I've seen photos of special events/meals on the London Eye, and it looks incredible. Now I'm all aflutter! (And wondering if I should still buy the ticket for the London Eye for my pre-days in London.... )

I thought the same thing!! That will be so cool. I couldn't believe I could be more excited about this trip but that just pushed me a little further.

Good News : The London Eye is one of the things ABD "surprises" us with.
