Locker access before park opening?

I have foot 'issues' and am planning on bringing a different pair on shoes to change into mid day. Since we don't want to schlep around carrying shoes all day, I was thinking we could put them in a locker. Can we access lockers before the park opens? I'll not make any friends with my traveling party if locker time interfers with rope drop.

No, as all the lockers are within the parks.

You could always throw the shoes in a small knapsack and keep them on you until you and your party hit a few rides at rope drop. Then head to the lockers

A limited number of Coin-op single-use lockers are available in the bus areas at Epcot & DHS only. 4 quarters required.

At MK, it is possible, as the lockers (#8 on the map below) are accessible from the Rope Drop waiting area,
which will open to early-arriving guests
at least 20 minutes before they actually release guests into the rest of the park.

Pay for the IN-PARK lockers with cash, credit card, Disney gift card, MagicBand, etc.

Only the self-service lockers found outside the gates (just a few places) require exact change.

MK lockers should be available at least by 8:30AM.

I hit the lockers (to store change of clothes in case we got wet, etc.) at Rope Drop for both MK and DHS. Both were AFTER the security checkpoints, so I couldn't get to them before they let people in the park.

I was the only one getting a locker that early so it took NO time at all .. heck .. at MK I got some "Pixie Dust" and was given a free locker just by answering some Disney Trivia.

These lockers were shockingly affordable (considering you have them all day) compared to the 'ripoff' lockers you find in waterparks (inside an amusement park) ($25 for a few hours????) or you find outside roller coasters because they no longer build coasters with those bins you'd dump your stuff in before the ride took off (at those same amusement parks).
