They can’t. Way more rooms at Disney deluxe (including DVC) than 3 at Universal.Disney should do a free line skipping system like Universal deluxe resorts.
For all those who said Disney should do an expensive line skipping system like Universal, here you go. Now please “put your money where your mouth is” and let us know what you think of this new option.![]()
I understand what you are saying, but at some point, like all things they have done over the past 6 - 7 years, to be able to fully enjoy the parks, you will have to fork over the cash in some form or fashion.I don't understand the "cash grab" accusations.
Disney is not tapping into your bank account and taking money.
They are offering a third tier of line-skipping that slots in between the LLMP and VIP tour.
And it's 100% optional.
I used to do that with fast pass plus for free. But the next available pass could be hours away. With this new system, we are figuratively waltzing from one ride to the next.
Been thinking about this, and I might actually purchase this if I’m traveling with elderly loved ones or young kids.
No need to pre-plan when we need to be at each ride. No need to whisper-scream at anyone to walk faster. Don’t have to wake people up on vacation if they’re sleeping in or napping. Don’t need to figure out the location of each ride to minimize criss crossing the park. Don’t have to find strangers to share a VIP tour with in order to make it less expensive for a smaller group. And also don’t have to spend 10 hours with a stranger dressed in plaid.
Just go to the park, and go on whatever ride we feel like trying. Only limitation is the lack of re-rides. But as someone that has issues with the 1 hour return window, this sounds good. Yes it’s expensive but I think I’d pay it for my parents or in-laws.
I assume you’re okay with no park hopping, as that’s the only other con.I'm considering the purchase for my family for our one MK day.
Our group of 5 has grandparents - and grandpa has bad feet/ankle who will not be able to crisscross the park. Has told us we can "go ahead, I'll catch up", but as grandma, I don't want to do that. (Don't even think about a scooter.) I want us all to enjoy the joy of our 3 yo grandson. If I purchase for our family trip in November, imagine the ease of automatic LL lines at MK? Not needing to be on my phone looking to book my next LL?
I think the only con is the cost. If we want to ride anything again - there's always the stand-by line. Am I missing anything?
I'm right there with ya, for our MK day with toddler DGD on her first visit. Just waiting to see what the cost is for our dates - that will likely be the determining factor.I'm considering the purchase for my family for our one MK day.

I’m just curious, are their people in your party doing rollercoasters and higher tier rides? The rides that consistently have higher waits and have more limited availability are the best value with the premier pass.I'm right there with ya, for our MK day with toddler DGD on her first visit. Disney has over 10,000 rooms that fall in the Deluxe and DVC categories. Even with only 2 people per room (which is a very conservative number) you’ve just placed over 20,000 in the LL lines each day. Disney will not offer this for ‘free’. (We all know ‘free’ would mean a price change to cover the money they would lose by guests paying for LLPP.)Disney should do a free line skipping system like Universal deluxe resorts.
Agree. They can’t. Way more rooms at Disney deluxe (including DVC) than 3 at Universal.
Well, the adults want to ride Tron, Seven Dwarfs, and Tiana, so the attraction of the LLPP is the possibility of starting at one side of the park and making our way gradually around to the other side as we did in the olden days, instead of having to manipulate LLMP and LLSP return times so that we’re not criss crossing the park all day. Also of course using the LL for those rides means less time entertaining the toddler while the adults take turns riding something.I’m just curious, are their people in your party doing rollercoasters and higher tier rides? For example, for a toddler the top 3 might be Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo, and say Journey of Little Mermaid. Those are VERY easy to get for LLMP, add to that, barnstormer, small world, maybe jungle cruise? And often times depending on time of year/day, some of these waits average less than 20 minutes standby.
The only trouble maker might be Peter Pan, but is it really worth 200$ p/p to avoid one line? I guess only you can make that decision.
Ah gotcha. That makes sense.Well, the adults want to ride Tron, Seven Dwarfs, and Tiana, so the attraction of the LLPP is the possibility of starting at one side of the park and making our way gradually around to the other side as we did in the olden days, instead of having to manipulate LLMP and LLSP return times so that we’re not criss crossing the park all day. But it really will come down to cost - and honestly right now I doubt that we’ll be buying LLPP.
Other than the fact that it will cost $2,250 (max on holidays), I see it similar to the VIP and better in some ways - you can use it for 12 hours if needed; taking leisurely breaks inbetween; but no park hopping (valuable at MK). This is the introductory price (remember the days of $15 LLMP (aka Genie+).I'm considering the purchase for my family for our one MK day.

It's my belief that when they went to the LLMP system, they intentionally left some availability on the table for this new system. Disney could easily have added another 20% of availability, at least on the rides I was on. My guess is that we end up with about the same lines with LLMP and LLPP that we had with FP+ or Genie. It does take LL tier 1 capacity/availability away from the average guests who planned on buying LLMP (all Guests were limited to 1 pre booked tier1 and lucky to get a second one day of; now LLPP guests can get all - Tier 1 list is bigger vs FP+ days). This reduces the value of the LLMP even if its price stays the same (most likely will increase).
Update: so far prices have gone up by $2-3 (Columbus day). Nov 2nd seems same $32 at HS as last year
Depends on the uptake of the Deluxe and DVC guests. If they are clamoring to buy it, then it will stay there as another perk, if it's not being utilized much, I could see it dropping down to Moderates. I don't see any way that it will be offered to the values unless almost no one buys it.Does anyone think this will eventually be available to purchase for any Disney World resort guests? Because I tend to not longer stay at Deluxe resorts anymore because they are simply too expensive and you can still visit them and dine at them and enjoy the ambience without the price of staying there. Anyway, I wouldn't mind purchasing this for 1 of my Magic Kingdom days and it sucks Disney is restricting this to only Deluxe resort guests especially for those who booked their trips before this was announced.
They already offer a lower-tier option that is available to all and that provides nearly the same experience (without the added luxury of having complete control over your return time, of course). In my opinion, the only way to mitigate the risk of Lightning Lanes again being overrun with people and defeating their purpose would be to raise the cost of the Premier Pass and to remove the lower-tier passes entirely (outside of the option to purchase ILLs). Otherwise, we'd have the same issues we had pre-DAS changes.Does anyone think this will eventually be available to purchase for any Disney World resort guests? But that’s the point. Only offer it to those already paying $$$ to stay at deluxe resorts. Otherwise people might stay at a value and buy the LMPP to save $. I don’t think this pass is meant for people trying to save money…. It’s really for those willing to pay top dollar for convenience.Does anyone think this will eventually be available to purchase for any Disney World resort guests? 3 of us will want to do top tier rides. My DIL will be 5 months pregnant.
