Welcome to the newcomers! So glad to see that Disers are getting those great OGT and VGT fares. :cheer2:

Thanks ! Absolutely---come by !!!

:thumbsup2
You get the big cabin prize for hanging in there, MiaSRN62! pixiedust: We had a 5E GTY also, but since I really wanted the oversized verandah, I chickened out before getting our assignment, and upgraded to a 4E. So we'll be in 5548, which I'm happy with, but isn't the bargain that you got!

So gometros (and TaniaU), could you note our cabin assignment on your FE list/spreadsheet? Thank you! :goodvibes

Forgot to add:

For any of you who are going to be at WDW before the cruise, we have a Chef Mickey ADR at 7:20am for a party of 4 the morning our cruise departs that we're going to cancel (we decided to go to MNSSHP the night before, so this will now be too early for us).

If you're interested in coordinating a cancellation time, PM me; if no one here is interested, I'll post it on the general Sept ADR cancellation thread.

Getting closer and closer to sailing!!! :yay::yay::yay:

Thanks savin---we were on pins and needles for awhile there ! I'm gonna PM you about that Chef Mickey breakfast. We have an 11 am check-in on the ship so your ADR might work. Gonna try and get in touch with our friends. We're a group of 4 adults.

I have 28 cabins and 88 people participating...but I might have missed one in the last update. Here's my list.

Started buying my stuff though on the weekend :)
Thanks for the list. I do see one correction, KADDY1230's Alex is a girl, she and my dd are pen pals. :thumbsup2

Gotcha :thumbsup2: Wow, there's hardly any boys in the group, that surprises me.

Got the other cabin numbers updated. Only need two more; one is my mommy's and the other is Jonisane.

ETA: Are we saying tomorrow is the cut-off for the FE list?

Is it officially 45 days? Initially we discussed 30 days. I'm fine with either because I just buy a little more supplies as I go, but we might want to do a last call, if it's 45 days.

Getting excited! I can't wait to pass it my FE gifts!! Sometimes when things get stressful at work, I go and work on my gifts and it helps to remind me that vacation is right around the corner!!

I'm getting so excited for the trip! I emailed in a reservation request for Tropicante yesterday and we have plans for Paradise Beach now, too. Woohooo! It is starting to feel very real!

Quick question for those who have been to Paradise Beach before: we are traveling as part of a group and someone is arranging transportation for us to and from Paradise Beach. But, they are heading back to the ship on the earlier side. If we choose to stay later, will it be easy to get a cab back from the beach to the ship? Do we have to arrange anything in advance, or will lots of cabs be waiting/driving by to take passengers back?

Also, what do people do about car seats in a cab? My older is 5 so we could easily bring him a backless booster or probably even go with nothing. But what about for my almost 2 year old?

In case anyone wants a Swedish massage, I am about to cancel my appointment for 9:15 a.m. on day 5 (Wed, Oct 3 - Cozumel). Go grab it if you can!

Ugh, the car seat in cab thing has been the bane of our travels since we had kids. :headache: On occasion I've dragged a car seat around for long cab trips, but it is a serious headache (and my DH, who ends up doing most of the dragging around, really hates it). Rarely I've found a cab company that will provide a car seat (at great expense and never a very good seat) if you pre-book everything, but just as often they still show up without the seat. I never found a good solution, so the best I can offer is empathy! I hope someone else has something more akin to help. :confused3

We got our room today.... Booked a cat 9D limited oceanview and we were upgraded to a cat 5B!!! Stateroom 8028 :cool1::woohoo: Sandy could you update us on the FE list, Thanks

Thanks.....have couple's one scheduled for Thurs/sea day. Anyone ever have them on ship before ? Looking forward to it. Hubby and I are spoiling ourselves a little this cruise. We really haven't had a vacation in a year unless you count the 3 nights we spent in WDW in May following our daughter's graduation from FSU. It was so short !

For those of you who enjoy martinis, apparently the Skyline bar on the Fantasy has a deal where you prepay for a "passport" which gets you 7 different martinis over the course of the cruise, saves you some money, and gives you a cute keepsake at the end. Details are at the bottom of the latest Mousesavers newsletter:

:drinking1 <--not a martini, but you get the idea

Done. And congrats on the upgrade!

As far as cabs from Paradise Beach, you'll have no problem getting a cab back. A couple of us are going, so we may even have a chance to share a cab back

We've done them on the ship and on Castaway Cay. While we prefer the latter, on board its great too

I'm working on my FE exchange gifts now :) Are there 2 lists of FE's going? One of them has Madison, age 9, listed as Maddison. Just wanted to correct in case anyone personalizes their items! Oh and Sandy, we changed to main dining instead of late if you don't mind updating. Thanks! Mary (Golf1007)
