Just checked in this afternoon...so far everything is beautiful!! We are staying in Hawaii. The room is great. Here are a few pics:

How are the Poly's Christmas decorations? Someone else posted today that there are lots of poinsettias, etc. but no gingerbread village this year. Any chance you've seen one?

Ya know...I forgot to look for the gingerbread house! I'll check it out tomorrow. There were a lot of poinsettias...

Today, my DD16 was saying that she thought the rooms were ugly, while we were watching the Disney planning DVD. It showed the old rooms for some reason.

While the old rooms were by no means ugly, the new ones are awesome!

Thanks for taking the time to share with us! We'll be at Poly next month. We'd love to hear about your experiences eating at Poly and any dishes that are especially good. We stayed at Poly 2 years ago but did not get a lot of time to experiment. Thanks a bunch! Also, we have relatives also in Disney right now, until December 7, and would love to hear about the daily weather. It looks like Monday, Dec. 4, things are going to cool off.

Hi everyone...

Day 2 here!!

It was about 85 degrees and pretty humid. A fair amount of crowds. We went to Epcot today. Soaring had about a 70 minute wait. We did fast pass so it was OK. Walk on for Journey Into Imagination, Honey I shrunk the Audience 20 minutes for: The Land, Nemo, Turtle Talk with Crush.

We ate at Coral Reef. It was about a 20 minute wait (with ADRs) It was my husband's birthday..so I had a diver hold up a banner underwater. I included a picture in the slide show.

Things at the Poly continue to be very good. Excellent service. We actually thought the food at Capt. Cooks was good. The system in which you order was very confusing (you do it by a touch screen) I think next time will be easier.

Thanks for posting your room pics. Sounds like you guys are having a magical time! My daughter and I leave for the Poly in 8 days. I really like what you did with the wreath on your door. Where did you get the Tinkerbell ornaments?

I found them at Walmart...they were pretty inexpensive. Have a great trip. We leave tomorrow.
