How hot is it? My girlfriend just got off a RCCL ship and she thought that it was chilly. She couldnt go into the pools. They wore coats all the times and rough seas. I am packing and now I think I might need some heavier clothes. They missed RCCL private islands because of the seas. Are you still going to Castaway cay?

Today was quite warm. It was over cast & cloudy on Grand cayman. Great day to swim. As far as I know we are going to CC.
We rented scooters on GC and went around the island. We also went to the Turtle farm. LOL I guess I have spent $7.50 on worse things.
We stopped at the West Bay Public beach and another public beach near the Marritt Courtyard. There were five ships in port so the area was very crowded. We heard there would be seven tomorrow.

We went to the Castaway Club party. they did say that there would be changes starting summer 2007 and they would let us know in three months time. I hate waiting.

We had dinner at palos tonight. It was very good, but not as good as I remember. Service was fantastic.

Tomorrow we have our ruins tours and Pirates night!! Better get some rest.

Oh, Caroline is now sitting next to me (Pyramid2000) so she can finish the update.
BTW, everyone I have met from the DIS is very nice.

So, Disers, how are you all doing with the medal count? Any Diser's in the Disney Legs contest? Any Bon Jovi's or Go Go's at 80's night? Ping pong champion? You guys have Pirate Night coming up tomorrow. The Diser's need to represent! Get your DH's up on stage for some Pirate Dancing!

Who else do you guys have on the cruise staff besides Pikey? David? Key-on? We love them all!

I don't know when a cruise will come close to matching yours, but it won't be this one!

There aren't many DISers and even less that I have actually met. Eeyore was in the 80's party, but I had just stepped out to check on the kids when they were going on so I don't now which group she was in!

I did try to find out what might be new for CC, but the officer I asked hadn't even heard about it. Of course he said they were sworn to secrecy about where they are going in 2007. Capt. Tom just said new and exciting ports.

Ok, gonna keep each post short so as not to lose them!

Yesterday morning(1/18) we had gale force winds and 13-20ft waves!! Rocking side to side. I did get sick, but felt better afterwards We got to dock in Costa Maya. I learned that the day before the boats couldn't dock there. It was over cast all day except for the people who went to the ruins, they say they had sunshine

This morning we are in 8-13ft waves, up and down with a gentle breeze nothing feels gentle with these waves! We shall see how the rest of the day at sea goes.

I am up right now because I went to bed so darn early!! I did make it through dinner, but didn't do pirate night. Just not feeling up to par. And the up and down is very bumpy. Anyone know the weather in the Bahamas right now?

Karen, I will get the movie list later. The Greastest Game Ever Played premeired yesterday. We also have Narnia, Herbie, valient, Chicken Little, Nemo...

Gonna try to get more sleep! We need !!

Yes, it was a beautiful sunny day at the ruins yesterday. What a beautiful island. Our tour through Native Choice was awesome!! I wosh we had more time to enjoy the beach there.

I was also up all night with those waves! I woke up to the glassware in our room falling. Took some Bonine and was fine after an hour. I've been taking it ever since & it's not bothering me.

Pirates night was fun. I did end up dressing as a wench. lol The fireworks were great. The deck party was packed!!! I don't think I
'll ever book during a holiday week again. I couldn't get tickets for the Galley tour for today, very disappointing.

Saw a huge pod of dolphins from our verandah today, very cool.

Weather is cloudy and maybe 70. I'm really hoping for a sunny day at CC, I need some kind of tan.

I've been a little disappointed in the food. Doesn't seem to be as good as before. On our CCL Valor cruise the food was so much better, more creative, less dry and hotter. Everything we get seems to be luke warm at best. Fish has been dry & steaks overcooked IMO. Our first meal at PC has been the best so far. We have Agus as our server he is a hoot.

That's all I can think about for now. Kis show is at 5:00 today. TTYL

They really were only bad one night from about 3:00 am until 8:00 am, then again a few hours the next night.
I rather they are rough during the night.
Unless you really get sea sick bad, a pill will cure what we had going on.

Remained cloudy and cool today, but it was so relaxing for us. We just spent three hours in sessions. What a great place!!!
saw CCL's Fascination while cruising. I cruised her a long time ago, my first cruise.

Off to dinner! I think it's lobster night! YUMMMMMM

I did feel better yesterday, but all the rocking got to DD 11 by dinner.
Luckily she made it out of the diningroom! She did feel much better after that and DD2 got a B-day cake! I agree with Cheryl that the dinners have been so-so. They don't seem to be as good as on the Wonder in Sept. But I have been comparing this one to the Wonder and IMHO there is a BIG diffrence between a FULL ship and a not so full ship! I never thought they would get all of the kids onto the stage and I saw many little ones who weren't even up there, my youngest included!

Ok, I have been asking many that I see what is up with 2007 and CC. Of course for 2007 all I get is it has not been announced yadda yadda. As for changes or additions on CC, I get many puzzled looks. They have no idea. I did talk with one officer yesterday who thought about it a minute and did mention he heard they were going to be putting up an observation tower, but he had no idea when. That's all the info I could get. And Captain Tom is not going to be on board next week.

BTW, it looks like we will be making it to CC today. The seas look great! I can also see the sun about to rise! A little cloudy, but I was just worried about docking! It is supposed to be in the low 70's, but I will take anything as long as we get to the island! In case I don't get on again, as we have been keeping busy, we had a wonderful week. Weather? ehhhh : food, ok, maybe better if I felt better : service, excellent! : shows, I REALLY miss Hercules!! Dreams was the best of the three. They had various technical things wrong in different shows, but nothing too big I guess. No flying for Peter and Lisa Marie yesterday

7 days may have been too long for DD3. The clubs got to her after awhile and other DDs didn't want to go to them at all yesterday, but I will write a trip report when I get back! Here's to a great day at CC!!!!
