Just received my cancellation email. Was booked 6/3-6/13 at the Wilderness Lodge.

I guess this is our cue to cancel our DVC booking. We are VWL for the same timeframe. Kids will be crushed.

Maybe for locals. They’re close to opening. They just probably couldn’t make it work for the beginning of June. Too much of a fluid situation

It looks like they are only cancelling reservations with check in the first week of June (for now at least)...

Just got my cancellation notice for first week of June. The first couple of days were through a third-party, but the second half of week was direct from Disney. It all still shows up in MDE (for now) & the email just came through.

They're cancelling based on arrival dates. The expectation was that they'd cancel June 1-7 arrivals this week. But someone staying 3 weeks starting on the 7th would see the whole trip cancelled, so you can see those end dates really stretch on.

I am 6/16 - 6/20, I guess I would expect a cancellation e-mail in a week. Even if they are open, I am pretty sure I don't want to be there week 1 or 2. If I was going solo, or if I lived local, sure. But as a family vacation, nope.

But they are now officially not offering ANYTHING (besides full refund) to people's reservations that are being cancelled? That stinks. I thought for sure they would come out with a new "come back later" promo for those cancelled in June. Doesn't need to be free dining, just a "keep your existing price" or "have a Disney Gift card for your future trip" would be a nice gesture.

Agreed. Id wait until they actually announce hard dates for them to announce any offers. They got burned this time doing the offers, and they probably realized it was a mistake to give people incentives for dates they couldn’t promise
