I don’t think the previous offers were attached to the cancellation emails. I got my free dining offer as a separate email offer not directly related to the cancellation email. When they cancelled my May stay it was just a full refund, boilerplate email.

Anything in the first week of June was cancelled so June 1-7 start date. It doesn't matter if your reservation goes into the 2nd week, if any part of your stay is the 1st week it's cancelled.

I’m 06/20-06/27 and haven’t gotten anything yet...

I'm booked the same dates and nothing yet. However, my Memorial Day weekend reservation still hasn't been cancelled yet, so who knows..

Agreed. Id wait until they actually announce hard dates for them to announce any offers. They got burned this time doing the offers, and they probably realized it was a mistake to give people incentives for dates they couldn’t promise

I’ve never cancelled and rebooked right away. Does anyone know how long it takes for DVC points to go back into your account when you cancel a reservation? I’d rather rebook for July now than wait until they cancel my reservation

Unfortunately, since they removed the ability to make or modify any June reservations as of last week, these June reservations can also not be modified-even if you were staying June 7-June 20 since your arrival falls on June 7 (in this current cancellation window) it's cancelled

DVC cancellations have been on a different schedule. There are still May DVC reservations that haven't been cancelled.

DVC reservations had been lagging behind the cash rooms. But they have been getting cancelled as well.

That’s terrible, makes it so hard to plan for something. I would hate to think that at some point upon reopening they are going to have to pick and choose who stays and who doesn’t.

I got my dreaded email for June 1-7. I already had booked a July 15 ressie but the June 1 has my AP placeholder on it for making fastpasses. I hate calling but I am wondering if I should just modify online the June 1st trip for the July dates and if that will keep my placeholder active.

I wonder what they are doing for reservations that go into July? My trip is June 26-July 4 currently and if they cancel the June portion we want to go July 1-5. I'd just schedule a separate stay now for those dates but we were booked under the original free dining (not for cancelled trips, just regular free dining offer) and don't want to lose that! Ugh, why do they make is so hard to decide?? And don't want to lose my good fastpasses!

That would be completely unfair and yes I know that sounds childish, but it is. They can't let some people keep their vacation while canceling others. It needs to be all or nothing.

It is instant. I have always called to switch my reservations and they can do it at time of cancellation.

This is one reason we split our reservations into blocks of shorter stays. They may just cancel our June 27-July 3, but I have a July 3-8th. So sorry for those cancelled. I suspect all of June will go.
