How much does the Magic Kingdom photo's cost is it part of the photo package on the cruise??? Cathy is my wedding coordinator and she told me that Disney said they can't do anything. It is absolutly ridiculous, i've become very angry. i am going to call the group department now and see what they tell me although i'm sure i will be told nothing!! It really is aggrivating...Thanks for the info

As I thought they told me that there is nothing they can do for me and my group and not only that but they told me because I am a DVC member that my room and another DVC members room doesn't count towards the group which I think is completly ridiculous because you pay so much money to Disney every year to be told that you don't count towards a group number. My Fiance is calling now because he's better at arguing then I am. The whole thing is very upsetting!

The Magic Kingdom Photo Shoot cost $1,000.00 and that includes all proofs. I am so sorry for all of this mess you are going through. It is horrible! Keep us posted as to what you find out? How did they work it with you adding the wedding package to the DVC reservation?

To get the Magic Kingdom Photos you call Dara Blonde - 407-827-1577, Tell her you are a cruise bride and you want to book a MK photo session. If she gives you any trouble just remind her you are a fairytale wedding bride and you do qualify! Is Cathy Ingle your planner? Has she helped at all?

I am renewing my vows on the Wonder in September and sorry to say, but I haven't had much help from the cruise coordinator. I already emailed my packet to her and emailed again to confirm she got it and have YET to hear back. Do you think it's cause my ceremony is still MONTHS away? I also wondered about the MK photo shoot and didn't know if that was something that we were entitled to since one, I've a renewal and two since I'm doing the cruise and not the more expensive land renewal. I dont' know if i could convince hubby to do that, but boy would I love to do taht.

I have had a hard time getting emails back too. I just keep sending them. LOL I need to know EVERYTHING.

Go for the MK photos....They are once in a lifetime pictures!

Adding the wedding on was the easy part all we had to do was call Cathy and she told us how much it was to add on the wedding which was $2500 and that was it....I must say Cathy is really good at returning emails, phone calls not so much, my fiance was told that there is group space but that there is nothing they can do for us and that it is not there problem, he was also told that as DVC members we don't count which once again is aggrivating all in itself. I tried to call about the mk photo shoot but she hasn't called me back yet hopefully soon, I will see about that, adding an extra $1000 onto our budget might be a little rough....I really hope things work out I have no idea who to fight with next at disney but the whole thing is just frustrating....

That is such a lovely ring (wanted to say georgous, but not sure your soon to be dh would like that some are saying his ring is georgous.) I really like that. I'm still in the debating mood for rings. We're doing our vow renewal for our 25th. Should we get new rings ($$$$ more money) or just keep the ones we've had for the first 25 years?

I'm all for upgrading my ring. I've been telling dh i wanted a bigger one since about our 2nd anniversary! Not to say that i don't absolutely love the one i have, but you buy bigger cars and houses as you get older, why not a bigger ring!!! But he doesn't get it.

I like that ring! It is very cool looking!

My engagement ring is a saphire. It's just over 3/4 carat. We met in September and were married in September, so when hubby asked if I minded a saphire vs a diamond, I didn't care (I was only 18 when we got engaged). He had bought the saphire gem as an investment a short time before. He then had it set into a ring for me. I love it! BUT, I've always wanted something to 'go' with it. After suffering our fourth miscarriage hubby bought me a small diamond ring. I wear both the saphire and diamond together with my wedding band. I have never told dh that I want an anniversary ring (and with all we are spending on this trip) I don't think I should push my luck, but I would really like that.

But Lisa, I love your df's ring.

Hi Lisa....

I found your PJ on a post to another thread - I have read the whole thing this morning! Then I saw that you are on MFL!! I was so excited that I "know" you from your posts there!

I honeymooned at WDW 12 years ago - unfortunately, long before I found MFL or DIS - we didn't know about all of the special things that we could do!

You have put much thought and planning into your wedding and I hope it all turns out extra special for you!! I LOVE everything you have so far - the dress - the bridesmaid dress - your ring - his ring - the invites! You Go Girl!

I can't wait to follow along during the rest of your planning and ultimate wedding cruise!

I admire all of the brides-to-be here that share their experiences to help those brides that come after them - (not to mention those of us who were brides to be sooo long ago!)

We also got a Camera Strap for our new SLR Camera. Nope we haven’t bought one yet, but we have been trying them out and narrowing down our choices!

We bought that strap in DL this past Oct It's so cute, and a constant reminder of Disney while we are out and about taking pictures!

Have you found a camera yet? If you haven't, have you looked at Nikon? We have a Nikon D40x, and I am in love with it! The pictures are always amazing, and the price is wonderful for the quality of the pictures!

I am torn between the D40x, the new D60 and the Canon.....I am just not sure. Is your camera easy to use. I wish Nikon had a live feed on the screen. That is the only thing I don't like about it! I need to get my hands on one for a while (not just in Best Buy) to play with.

I am so excited! Yesterday I called to get our tickets for the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! I was on hold for an hour, but I got the day I wanted. The total for two adult tickets was $107.28. Has anyone been? It is great? I can not wait to see the Castle all lit up!
