Beringer White Zinfandel, California (Item 1193) - $24 USD
Martinelli Sparkling Cider, California (Item 1194) - $18 USD

The prices listed are how much each thing would be if we bought them outright, but they are provided since we are a "group". I am leaning towards the 1st choice. What to do you all think?

Well, normally I'd say the Santa Margarita Pinot, since it's one of my favorites, but I really like the second option. I'd be so thrilled to have that waiting in my cabin!

I am excited that we get this service included! It is such a nice thing and finally something that I don't have to pay for! Why is it that the wedding cost keep rising!!!!

I really like the memory box. If you went with the wine and strawberries, or option #3, you'd really have to know all your guests for that one. For instance, I'm allergic to strawberries, so option #2 wouldn't be well received in my cabin. ;) And for the wine, some people are very particular about their wine choices. I think the memory box is the safest bet, and a really great gift too! :thumbsup2 Man, i want to come to your wedding!

Oh and one other thing you have to have the same thing in each cabin! No switching it up per cabin!

Your allergic to Strawberries...You poor thing!

I was leaning towards the 1st one cause you can get food for free on the ship!

:rotfl: everyone says that! It's no big deal to me. It's been so long for me, i don't miss them. I've probably just convinced myself i probably wouldn't even like them.:confused3

Hi Lisa!

It looks like your planning is going nicely.

The memory box is a nice gift for your guests. It's something that they can use while on the ship to keep their daily Navigators and all of the other little momento-type things that they'll pick up throughout the cruise. And it's something that they'll be able to take with them when the cruise is over. Once the wine is gone, it's gone.

I agree that #1 is probably the best choice. I would love to open my cabin and be greated with champagne, but my Mom wouldn't. I think that the first choice is the most appealing for everyone in your party.

How great is it that you get to have something extra on Disney's dime?!?!!? That's awesome!

I vote for #1~~~:cool1: I'm not sure if everyone is a Disney fan, but since they are going on a Disney cruise, it would be a nice memento for them. I would personally choose Mickey stuff over alcohol! :dance3:

SEVEN MONTHS from today I will marry the love of my life!!!! :bride: pirate:

I like the memory box! A nice keepsake! And isnt it nice that you get to give-on them!!:goodvibes:

We have decided we are going with the Memory Box! I am so excited that all of my guests (and us too) will get such a wonderful gift from Disney!

Jennifer....I am sure there are still openings on the sailing, you are welcomed to join us! LOL

LOL....That is what I have done with Ice Cream.

I liked that option, but since most food is free on the cruise we figure that our guest will like having something to take off of the ship!

Hey Lisa! I really enjoy reading you PJ. A DCL wedding is currently the front-runner for my fiance and me. I spoke to Cathy last week (who's a sweetheart!) but she's on vacation this week and I have questions! I tried to email you a little while back but I guess you didn't receive the email - I'm going to PM you :-)

Well, promise me you'll try the Santa Margarita Pinot yourselves sometime, then! :goodvibes

We will be staying for 6 nights and 7 days at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Does anyone have any insider tips for us.

I am so excited. I have convinced myself that I was staying at the Wilderness Lodge, but deep down I was hoping that the man we were renting from could pull off the AKL! He did! I am sooo Excited.

I stayed at AKL in 2002. It was great! I really loved the themeing of the resort. I would want to stay again, but not with the kids. They wouldn't eat at Boma or Jiko.

I hope you get a Savanah View room!! If not, there are little lookout posts all around the inside, with viewing machines to look out onto the Savanah. And rocking chairs!

I'd post pics, cause i have a lot, but that was back BEFORE digital cameras! :rotfl:

They have night time storytelling and night vision goggles you can use and if I remember correctly a free tour of the resort in the morning some time. I'm sure concierge could tell you the details. it's just beautiful! And eat at Boma- YUM!
