Linking Gypsy and Expression to laptop at the same time?

Is there a way to "daisy chain" the Gypsy and the Expression to work with CDS so I don't have to use my carts in the Expression? I'd love to be able to just connect the Gypsy to the Laptop and then the Expression to the Gypsy so I can work in CDS instead of that tiny little screen on the Gyspy.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

LOL. I basically want to use my Gypsy as a Jukebox. Connect it to my Expression and use CDS to design stuff and then send it off to the Expression to cut and have the Gypsy say "oh, you've got all those carts right here, no need to put a cartridge in " (in so many words).

So when I use the gypsy I don't need a cart
in the cricut? It was asking me for one
today so I put the one I was using in.
Did I not have to? I'm new to all this.

Hmmm, if it was asking you for one, I guess it does need one. My issue is that I like to use the big screen in CDS to design (and I'm having trouble "grabbing" things with my gypsy), and then just have one cartridge in the Expression (if necessary), but have the Gypsy tell my Expression which carts I have so I don't have to keep switching out. (It's pure laziness).

Yeah, I've been fighting with Rabbit for about an hour now. Paper's tearing, replace the blade. Okay, too small to figure out what goes where, cut again. Paper's still tearing in the smallish places. Cut again with more blade depth...Oh my GOD, where does that go? And his eyes look like he's a zombie!

Which rabbit?? I hate the eyes. I so stressed on the eyes for
the princess that it drove me crazy.

I just took mine back out and made something for the single
letter swap thingy.

Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh. I handed it to DH with some markers after I had finally gotten it all cut out correctly and adhered. OMG, he made it look professional. It looks so good!
