LINK TO MY TR POSTED 10/30 - I'm Ali & I'm Addicted to Disney Planning - Oct '10 PTR

First off I did laugh about the printer incident. We have 4 kids, so you can imagine what kinds of wierd things we find in places, thank goodness VCRs are out and gone.

When you get your Flip camera let me know how you like it and how well it works. I never heard of these and have been battling with the dilema of wanting video of my kids but not wanting to lug around my big camera and all.

2012 must be the year. My hubby and I will be celebrating 10years that year, and we want to do something special just the 2 of us, and I was seriously considering us doing Disney kid free. We did it for our honeymoon in 04, but we are afraid of the kid's reactions too. They may never forgive us.

I remember my dad fishing things out of the VCR when we were little. My brother used to hide his army men in there :sad2:

Speaking of my brother, he has a Flip camera that he loves. He uses it all the time. The one that he has (which is the same one we are getting) records up to two hours of video. You just flip out a built in USB port, plug it into the computer and transfer the videos right there. No cables or wires, and as far as I remember, you can upload them right to photobucket or youtube, so you don't need any special software.

I don't know what's going to happen with the 2012 trip, because my family is extremely unreliable. We talked to my sister about her and her BF coming with us in 2011 just so that we can introduce them to the parks (the real way!) without a bunch of other people. So they are possibly in for just a 4 person trip for 2011, and then in 2012...I have no idea!

We're finally in the teens! 19 DAYS TO GO!!

Not really anything all that spectacular to update you all on.... Life is kinda boring around here for the time being!

I brought up Lumar's suitcase from the basement last night and I did some more packing. I was able to pack his shorts & bathing suits since he won't need them again until Disney, and t-shirts since he has 842 of them. I packed our pool towels (because I AM making him to go to the pool with me this year!!), and most of our bathroom stuff is packed. I ordered 4 pairs of sandals last night from Old Navy - 3 pairs of regular flip flops and one pair of nicer sandals to wear to Jiko.

I can't believe our trip is so close! I only have 12 more days of work! :hyper:

I love that he has 842 t-shirts. My DH was the exact opposite! We had to buy him more t-shirts so he had enough for Disney!

OMG he drives me crazy!! He buys t-shirts EVERY WHERE HE GOES! A couple of years ago, he had to buy every single PotC t-shirt he came across so he has a whole drawer that I could fill with JUST those. But he NEVER WEARS THEM! So I told him that he didn't have a choice in what shirts go into the suitcase. I packed 2 extras, just so he feels like he has some say in what he wears! :rotfl2: But seriously, his t-shirt drawer doesn't even close because it's over crowded AND the shelf in his closet has about 5 or 6 piles of t-shirts. :sad2:

Does Lumar hang his favorite tshirts up? Cause my boyfriend does. I have never met anyone that hangs tshirts in their closet. Mine are just folded and thrown in a drawer.

I hang mine. I have two dressers and my closet. Jeans, khakis, pants go in my short, long dresser, and underwear and pajamas go in the highboy. I hang my shirts because I organize them by sleeve length and color... I have mild OCD :lmao:

His collared shirts, pants, and shorts get put on hangers but the t-shirts get folded. I don't know if that's how he would do it, but since I do the laundry, that's what he gets! :rotfl2:

Don't we all? :rotfl2:

:lmao: Apparently so :)

As if obsessing over WDW wasn't bad enough! :rotfl2: I could name 5 things off the top of my head that absolutely get under my skin and they are the most insignificant things!

Laundry that is just thrown somewhere. In a drawer, in a suitcase, on the floor, etc.

When someone takes a shower and doesn't open up the shower curtain to let it dry.

When someone puts the toilet paper roll on backwards

Making lists. I make the same list over and over. I've already printed my packing list twice. I'm guessing I'll print it at least once more before we actually leave.

I can't stand when lights are on in a room that no one is in. I got that one from my dad!

:lmao: :lmao: I have my things, but my brain's a little fuzzy at the moment (yay vicodin), so I don't really know how to word them.

Wow only 19 days to go, woo hoo!!:cool1:

I hang tshirts...I like hanging almost everything, it gets less wrinkled that way. I fold sweatpants and stuff, but my closet is stuffed full of all of my clothes, hanging on hangers!

When someone takes a shower and doesn't open up the shower curtain to let it dry.

OMG that drives me insane!!!! :upsidedow My DH does that and I cannot stand it, and no matter how much I nag him about it, he just will not open it after he gets out of the shower! He also can't put his toothbrush back in the toothbrush holder, leaves it sitting out on the sink, and he will not throw away the little disposable bathroom cups after rinsing his mouth out, he leaves that on the sink too. Ughhhhh it makes me crazy!

I have more, but I won't get into it. :rotfl: We'll be here all night!

:lmao: at the T shirts.
In college, I once had to go across campus late at night to hep a friend remove a personal care product from her printer. :lmao::lmao:

You are so close to your trip!! Can't believe it's in the teens already!

I always get so angry when I get to a theatre and they dont' have the movie playing or it's sold out. I live 3 blocks from a theater so I guess it isn't too bad to go there and find out we can't see the movie we want to, but...it still pays to do a bit of research but I sometimes am too lazy. LOL :surfweb:

I am totally the same way when things break. I freak out and start hitting things. Then DH comes over and fixes it, then says Who's the Man? And then goes back to playing Starcraft II. ARgh.

OMG I hate it when he shaves and leaves the razor out on the sink! Put it back in the cabinet!!!

Yeah, we would be here all night! :rotfl:

OK I was gonna ask "what was the item" and as I was typing it I was like "oooooohhhhhh!" Anything referred to a "personal care item" can only mean one thing...

I know, considering I started at like 230 something, to be at 19 is crazy!

The movie thing has never happened to us before! We always buy our tickets online but my sister didn't do that this time. And she checked it on Thursday, which was supposedly the day they stopped showing it in the theater. So they either never updated the site, or she checked it right before they changed it. :sad2:

I was so mad about that dang printer! I was mad at first because I felt like this could only happen to me. Then to have him come over and just "poof!" AHHH! I was happy he fixed it but so frustrated! Lumar pretty much said the same thing... "who's the best boyfriend ever?" Then goes back to Mass Effect. Seriously, I was so annoyed. This is why men think they are better than women! They have one lucky, useful, moment and think it makes up for all the times they didn't change the toilet paper roll!

YAY! In the TEENS! You'll be off to the world before you know it.

What am I OCD about and what drives me crazy? Just about everything! :rotfl2:

Yeah I think I am with most others, if I started complaining about my "issues" I could be here a while. But to list a few, when Dan shaves and doesn't rinse the sink, the kids leave their dirty clothes on the bathroom floor, and toothbrushes and toothpaste on the counter. My oldest daughter never puts her laundry away, I fold it for her and give her the things to hang and the next day I will come in to them being scattered all over her floor. GRRRR, which leads to probably almost number 1, finding clean folded up clothes in the hamper on laundry day!!! Deep Breath!

Yup! All of those things bug me too! I don't have kids, but Lumar is terrible with laundry! Dirty clothes pretty much go where ever is convenient for him at the time of removal, clean clothes get put in a laundry basket (regardless of whether the clothes already in it are clean or dirty), he never cleans the sink off...and he squeezes the toothpaste from the MIDDLE!! :scared1::scared1: :rotfl2:

As you know since you posted on my new TR, we are back. First, HAPPY TEEN DAYS!!!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

I will catch up on the rest tonight.
