I've been reading alot of negative posts lately about YourRide and I think that it's time to give YourRide back a bit more positive image.

No, I don't work for them, nor was I offered any discount services for posting good things about their company. I'm just an average person who enjoys taking a limousine when I go to WDW for vacation.

I first learned about YourRide from the DIS boards when they became a sponsor. I figured I'd try them out since they were sponsoring the boards that I spend countless hours on chatting and giving/receiving all kinds of helpful information on. I wasn't disappointed that I did.

I've used them twice since then and I have had nothing but professional, courteous and outstanding attitudes from them. Their limos are always clean and nice and cool, in fact I'd consider them spotless! There is ALWAYS cold drinks and a nice comfortable ride to and from the airport. Their drivers have always taken our luggage from us and refused to let us carry any of it, even under protests.

I had concerns about Rabbit leaving, but Thom has taken over and I think he's doing a GREAT job. He has always responded to my emails in less than a 24 hour period. He had our reservations accurate and there were no mix ups or delays. As with any reservation that I make, I ALWAYS call ahead of time to make sure everything is going to be smooth once I land in Orlando. That goes for my resort as well as my PS and of course, my transportation.

I have no problems at all recommending YourRide. In fact, my boss just arrived today in WDW for the first time and I had recommended he use YourRide. Now, I have to work with this man 8 hours a day, I would never recommend a company that I didn't think would impress him or get the job done. I'll post a review of what my boss thought when he gets back after the 22nd.
 
My mom and I used YourRide for my November trip, and we had Tom (might be the same one) as a driver, and we were VERY impressed!! Any future Disney trips, YourRide will be our mode of transportation!!! Four (mine and my moms) thumbs up for YourRide!!!

I thank you both for the kind words and vote of confidence in our service. Its very nice to see that your hard work and efforts to make our customers experience here in the Orlando area a plesant one. Rabitt always tried his hardest and so do we. It's nice when people take the time to post about good service. In fairness most of the complaints seem to be when Yourride uses outside drivers to fill in and most of the compliments seem to be when the poster gets one of the 2 or 3 "regular" drivers.
This seems to be the case with many of the towncar services.
 

I agree, Wish! We've used Yourride for the last couple trips now and everything has gone sooo smooth. My girls and I loved Jimmy our limo driver in October, and Dennis our towncar driver this last trip was awsome too. I'm planning on using them again in February!
 
I will have to agree with all of you! I have used Yourride for my girls only trips and will be using them for the first time with my husband in Oct. As with everything else in business, things may happen, you can't please everyone. Belive me as a CM at my local Disney Stroe this is more the norm lately.

I look forward to my Oct. trip and maybe I will get lucky and get Dennis again. He was fantastic!
 
I had a bad experience with them a year and a half ago, at the time, Rabbitt (who I am told no longer works for them) promised me a complimentary ride my next time. Well, I am booked for October (right when kerry gets back :( but we'll make up for it in March, right Kerry! :Pinkbounc ) Anyway, I emailed Thom and within MINUTES he emailed me back saying that he would honor the promise Rabbitt made NO PROBLEM! I booked and am all set and as I've stated before I have confidence that everything will go smoothly!

I say give em' a try, they really do try to please!
 
After reading the negative posts last week about Yourride, I e-mailed them to verify all our plans for our Aug 23rd arrival.. I quickly received an e- mail saying everything was all set. The majority( probably 95%) of posts that I have read the last 6 months have been positive of Yourride. I' m looking forward to my first ever Limo ride with Yourride.

I will be using Yourride in October. I haven't told DD yet. I want it to be a surprise as we usually go with Mears because it is only two of us but I figured it was time to ride in style...(ok so I need to stop for Pepsi too..not a fan of Coke)
I will post my experience when I return.

And I agree ....I've used Your ride over the past 3 years....and I've always been extremely happy with their service!

We used them last year and everything ran very smoothly. GREAT service. And we are going to use them tomorrow!! I called and confirmed everything and I just can't wait!! We are leaving here in about 3 hours to pick up DH from work and headed to the hotel by the airport. We leave at 6:15am. I'll report back when we get back at the end of the month. To be fair to Thom, he has responded very quickly to people who posted here that they have had a bad experience and offered to make it right. I don't think any company will get it right 100% of the time, when they don't, I like to see a quick response to correct the problems. So far, it seems as if Thom is trying to do that.
 
I am trying Yourride for the first time next month. We will need a ride from MCO to Portofino Bay, Portofino Bay to Yacht Club, and Yacht Club back to MCO. I decided to go with Yourride because I had a few hit or misses with Tiffany and I didn't want to worry about whether or not we were going to be picked up. I read a lot of positive feedback about Yourride on this board and since I've been a subscriber to the dis for several years now I know that I can trust the comments that are posted about the various experiences that people have. Hopefully my experience with Yourride will go well and I too can add to the long list of positive feedback about Yourride.:D :D
 
I'm so glad to see this post! I am thinking about using their service this fall and was feeling a bit leery since all the negative posts as of late. I think I will book my train and yourride from the station now- I will give them the benefit of the doubt and give them the chance!
 
We have a reservation with Yourride for 16th August which we booked months ago with Rabbit, i sent Thom an email to confirm our booking and i must say he sent a reply straight away. I am really looking forward to the limo ride we have booked from Sanford to Vistana Villages, lets hope everything is ok, and we dont have to take a Mears Shuttle. I don't like to post nasty things - I'd much rather give a good report. But the negative posts about YourRide were posted because people had bad experiences. It happens.

I do have to take issue with Wish Upon A Star's statement that "Their limos are always clean and nice and cool, in fact I'd consider them spotless!" We used YourRide last October and our towncar was not clean and did not even approach being spotless. It was actually pretty soiled and was pretty high on the "Eeewwww" scale.

Our driver, Jimmy, was very good, and we thoroughly enjoyed his company on our way to the AKL. And he did have the cold water we requested waiting for us in the towncar. However, we reserved a limo, not a towncar (I wanted to surprise my DW.) I'm sure that mistake was not Jimmy's fault... he's a driver not the scheduler. And, he was late (bad arrival info from United airlines?) and we were not allowed to pay for the trip with a credit card (as we had requested by email), causing some very embarassing moments at the AKL while we scrounged for adequate cash to cover the trip.

We had previously confirmed all these details with Rabbit by email beforehand. Unfortunately, most of the arrangements were not carried out. Very disapointing.

We are heading back to WDW this October. Would I use YourRide again? Maybe... I just don't know. I just learned on this thread that Rabbit is no longer there. I sure liked Jimmy and with Thom taking Rabbit's place, maybe things will be different. I don't know... anyone have some advice? What would you do?

Like you said, "It Happens." Since your experience wasn't a total disappointment. Maybe give them the benefit of the doubt and try again.

We have had two great experiences with them. In fact last Thanksgiving, NWA changed our flight at the last minute. I called Rabbit the day before we needed him (a day earlier than originally scheduled) and I could hear the "how am I going to do this?" in his voice, but he said not to worry someone would be there for us. And boy were they! We had a limo waiting for us instead of a van and were my kids (and me too!) thrilled!

So I'll be e-mailing them soon for our November trip!
 
We have taken Your Ride for our last 2 trips and both were handled very professionally. On our last trip we were told we had to pay for the grocery stop due to its a one way trip (we were going on a cruise later) and we surprised Thom by stopping by Albertsons and only staying less then 15 minutes due to we had preordered our groceries prior to our trip. Thom was amazed and didn't charge us for the grocery stop. I would recommend Your Ride to anyone taking a towncar service.
