A newbie with a question regarding lime green DIS tags.

Is this something the DIS board members wear? We went to WDW in 2000 and didn't know about this board then. Since then, WOW! Have learned so much. Seems the more I learn, the less I know!

Anyway, are there other members in the parks that actually wear lime green tags? Hate to miss out chatting with/meeting the great folks here. Just curious. :scratchin

We did this on our last trip to WDW. We got the Alien Green Mickey heads from Home Depot's paint department. Cut them out and put Star Wars Guy on one and DIS on the other. Then lamenated them together, punched a hole and tied it to my camera bag with lime green ribbon.

Unfortunately, no other DISer approached me about it.

Excellent idea to use as a bag tag! Thanks, that's what I'll do too. Have a great day.:wave2:

You can also get green DIS buttons with your DIS username on them from www.disshop.com, for only $3.

I put one on the backpack I tote around the park.

There's also the lime green DIS fanny pack:

And my personal favorite DISshop find, the DIS luggage tags!

. I LOVE these! It makes it so very easy for my husband or our town car driver to easily find the right bags on the luggage carousel! They'd also be good for camera bags.

I do keep an eye out for lime green, and it does help you spot those fellow DISers. Well, it usually does. I was at WDW the week of St. Patrick's day... *everyone* was wearing green, so it was a little harder to spot the DISers than usual! ::yes::

The home depot alen green idea sounds very easy and fun. See you there??:earsgirl:

I did the same thing, and made pins out of them. You can get cheap pin backs at Wal-mart. I have two pinned to the stroller in very plain sight, but have yet to be approached by anyone and it has been three trips so far.

Oh, and a tip, the Mickey head will peel from the Home Depot card if you are careful and takes less time than cutting plus a neater edge.
