Likelyhood of getting Vero for XMas week at 7 months?

My family would like to try Vero for XMas this year, but we have to book at 7 months out. What is the likelyhood that we will be able to get this reservation? We'd likely be looking for a 1 BDR and a 2BDR or a one bedroom and 2 studios.

I have no idea how popular VB is on Christmas. When the '06 Christmas tree pass along thread was around, there was a place to sign up for a VB swap, but there wasn't enough interest for one. At least, I don't remember anyone being on that list. If that's the case, I'll bet that you could get in. Please be sure to let us know how it turns out! I was thinking that once DH is retired, and has more non working days, we could add a night or two to VB after our December WDW trip. For us, it wouldn't be on Christmas day however.

That's interesting about there not being enough interest for the tree swap at Vero. That gives me hope I'll definitely update at 7 months

On a side note, if you do want to book Vero, try to do it in advance. My folks want to stay there this month, and they are having no luck with their dates. They've been waitlisted for a while. The CM that my dad talked to told him that they are finding it harder and harder to book Vero lately due to increased demand. The only thing that I can figure is that there are more DVC members in general as they sell each new resort, and lots of them want to add some nights at Vero
