Likelihood of discounts?

Hi. First time poster. We are both Florida residents and annual pass holders. We are planning on staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter from 9/5 - 9/11 during the value2 season and right now room rates are about $173 per night. What is the likelihood that either AP or fl residents discounts will be offered at some point? Would it be the typical 25-30% for moderate resorts? I was looking for historical rates around that time just to get an idea but haven't been able to find any. I want to go ahead and book but I'm a planner and like to know all possible scenarios so I know to keep checking. Thanks!

Do not book if you want a discount. Only book if you are happy paying rack rate. That resort is too small. When people book up the rooms at rack rate, why would Disney give discounts?

There's a decent chance of discount but POFQ is the one most likely not to have a discount- when they do have a discount it is usually much less than 25-30%. We stayed there a year ago in October and it was a 10% discount. Only book now if you CAN afford to pay rack rate and be pleasantly surprised if it gets a substantial discount.

Riverside is more likely. You could always book POFQ now then move resorts if you like the discount elsewhere when they are announced
