I'm in love.

Wow. That is one serious cookie.

And, Liesa, I am so not interested in repeating the whole smoke thing this week. Although I do have to tell you, DH does catering on the weekends (at a banquet hall, he's a very good chef) and they have a fryolater. So he actually took your funnel cake recipe and made them himself there.

I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing. There are currently two styrofoam containers full of funnel cake sitting on my counter begging to be eaten.

Maybe I could have him make the corn dog nuggets too.

Maroo, I'm with you, I love a nice banana sliced on cereal for breakfast. I also like to slice up a ripe banana with a little bit of soymilk and sugar, and that's breakfast to me as well. Slightly healthy, slightly sweet.

A weekend of house stuff to do and I am behind!

Zebra Domes! I think they have Kahlua in them (and I am not a fan of coffee or coffee flavored things). They are delicious! To my knowledge, you can only get them at AKL - either at Boma or at The Mara (CS restaurant - where they count as a dessert).

A banana and milk! That should not be on a list of WDW snacks! Maroo I am disappointed.

Corndog nuggets - I have never tried those but my dd loves corndogs so we will have to put those on the list for the next visit. Liesa - I must say you are very ambitious making all of these things.

Candy/chocolate dipped cookie Now that is my idea of a snack to dream about!!! Looks like a Goofy's concoction.

Looking forward to more items!

I knew the zebra domes had alcohol in them, but didn't know what kind... kahlua makes them sound all the better!

I don't think I'm ambitious, I have to make everything by scratch, if we want to eat it. Today, I was in the mood for eggrolls, so we made them. We can't buy the wrappers here (like the packaged kind in the refer section at your local grocery store) so we have to make those too. Ground chicken? Gotta grind it. Everything is hand done- and it makes them taste soooo good!

I think you're right! Goofy's! My last treat was a goofy's rice krispy dipped in chocolate. I think everyones knows about these so I'll just say it. My last snack, in the Snack Hall of Fame was this:

I don't think I'd try the corn dogs at Casey's. I know everyone really loves them, but it's just not my thing. For me, at Casey's, the deal is a hot dog, french fries with cheese sauce, and cracker jacks. That's my standard counter service Casey's meal. It must be consumed at least once, if not more on my trip.

You know what? The only thing I lament about you saying that is if you've never done it, you'll never see the original version, and that was awesome, because it was like Walt's touch. There's so little left in the parks that's original Walt, and that was one of them until Iago and his cohorts invaded. It's just not the same.

It is about the Podcast Cruise in 2010! December of 2010...

You would have lots of time to save up and the prices are really good for a holiday cruise. And you can bring HRH...and DH...and your Mom...and anyone you want! And it can be cheaper for all of those nice people! And you get free stuff because you are going with the podcast gang...you will see more on Jamie's (tiggerbell) TR.

I am going. But we can't talk about that yet... because then I would have 5 trips on my poor pre-trip report! And I don't have a color for talking about the cruise...I will talk about that next year!

So I just hijacked Jamie's...I am sure she won't mind. She would love more people going on the next podcast cruise.

I just had to tell you that I thought of you and your sinful snack ideas yesterday...I was at our local amusement park and saw DEEP FRIED OREOS! (Although at this particular moment, the deep fried hot dogs sound better to me...)

That to me, sounds revolting!! Yikes!!! Deep fried oreos??!! But I guess I shouldn't be knocking them until I try them, but for me, that'd be a stretch!

Well, if we didn't want to eat greasy macaroni, potatoes or rice, we have to cook other stuff. I have trained my wonderful househelper to make tortillas and scalloped potatoes, and all kinds of soups; now we can have a nice variety besides the 3 dishes she knows. Seriously, the lack of variety in their diet here, is scary!

You all know that any good military is run with discipline, and, of course, everyone and everything is done rank and file! So to keep you from thinking any less of our disciplined outfit, our snacks deserve nothing less than to be ranked according to most likely to be consumed!

So without further ado, here are Soldier #1's "Snack Rankings": (in order of "most delectable" to "maybe I'll get it, maybe I won't")

1. Frozen Banana (in honor, if you'll remember, of Grandma)
2. Minnie's Frozen Strawberry Bar
3. Dole Whip Float (We need to redeem this company out of the DISboards brig)
4. Cream Cheese Pretzel (and I'm holding out for a spice jalepeno one)
5. Rice Cream
6. Rice Krispy Treat from Goofy's
7. Corndog Nuggets from Casey's (probably during a Spectro show or after Wishes)
8. Funnel Cakes
9. Crepes or maybe something else from the France Boulangerie

So, there you have it. I have no idea (yet!) if we are getting FD. If so, I may get more, as they look good to me or whatever strikes my fancy along the way. If not, I'll have to stick to one a day, as that's what the fiscal planning allows.

That looks good! I never saw a mickey rice krispy treat w/ chocolate ..... although last year in DHS we bought a huge rice krispy treat with a chocolate bottom with drizzled chocolate on top. I wish a had a picture of it... it was over an inch thick and about a 4''X4''. It took us a few hours of picking at it to finish it! LOL
